Nine Network - Programs and Schedules

It appears Nine didn’t think Ellen was appropriate school holiday viewing.

So “nine news late” was temporary as I suspected

Lego Masters down to 2 eps next week with some pretty lazy programming on Tuesday.

I suspect Nine will only show Lego Masters twice per week for the rest of this season as there are only 11 episodes. Then it will be followed by the fourth season of Australian Ninja Warrior.

Most likely preserving episodes to stretch the show. Looks like they’re taking the same approach with House Rules which is down to three a week.

MC will give Lego a massive run for its money it would seem too!

Coming up with a mock schedule (that bored!) and was wondering if anyone knows how many episodes there for the upcoming season of Travel Guides.
Tried finding it out online but no luck.
Thanks!

Channel 9 will be hoping restrictions ease by May, so it can recommence production on The Block and other shows. If not Nine is in trouble for the year.

Music from the Home Front

STARS UNITE FOR ‘MUSIC FROM THE HOME FRONT’ TO SALUTE AUSTRALIAN AND NEW ZEALAND FRONTLINE WORKERS FIGHTING COVID-19 THIS SATURDAY, APRIL 25 ON NINE

The biggest names in Australian music will join forces this Anzac Day to perform from their own homes in a televised concert dedicated to the frontline workers against the Covid-19 pandemic.

Screening on Anzac Day this Saturday, April 25 from 7.30pm on Nine, the uplifting Music From The Home Front will give viewers a front row seat to performances from artists including Ben Lee, Birds Of Tokyo with West Australian Symphony Orchestra, Courtney Barnett, Delta Goodrem, G Flip, Ian Moss, Jimmy Barnes, Kevin Parker (Tame Impala), Missy Higgins, Paul Kelly, The Rubens, The Wiggles, Vance Joy and Vika & Linda Bull.

More artists as well as hosts for the show will be announced in the coming days.

As the world reels from the pandemic and billions of people retreat into isolation, the frontline healthcare heroes battling the deadly virus, and all the essential workers are continuing to keep us and our families safe.

Set up by Michael Gudinski with some help from iconic Australian rocker Jimmy Barnes, Music From The Home Front is a big thank you to these workers, and is especially poignant on what is a sacred day for Australians. For those who have fought under our flags and those who serve on the frontline in the fight against Covid-19, we salute you on this very different Anzac Day.

The event, which will not contain a fundraising element, will also feature celebrities joining the huge chorus of Australians expressing their gratitude to the brave men and women putting their lives on the line in this unprecedented battle.

The unique performances will encourage all Australians who are staying home to invoke the Anzac spirit by coming together to recognize the work of all frontline workers.

Adrian Swift, Nine’s Head of Content Production and Development said: “Music From The Home Front is a salute from Australia and New Zealand’s music communities to everyone serving our nations under lockdown. From the military this Anzac Day to all those on the frontline fighting COVID-19 and those working to keep food delivered, shelves stacked and streets cleaned. And it’s an opportunity for everyone watching to say thanks too just by texting us as we go to air this very different Anzac Day.”

Michael Gudinski, CEO of Frontier Touring and Chairman of the Mushroom Group said: “Throughout history music has helped people through times of hardship. Music From The Home Front is about uniting Australian and New Zealanders through the power of music in a time that we all need a bit of hope and happiness.”

Music From The Home Front will screen this Saturday, April 25 from 7.30pm on Nine and 9Now.

The Anzac Day concert will replace the primetime encore of Lego Masters.
