They should keep it consistent at 4.00pm everyday. No idea what theyâll put at 4.30 on Fridays.
Whatâs Up Down Under could air
The Late Show has be airing repeat interviews etc for months due to the Writerâs Strike. I guess that the ratings arenât good enough and it better to fill up the schedule with dram repeats instead.
Ratings at 1am in the morning wouldnât be much more than those in an emergency department every night.
Quite honestly, there might not be that much difference screening infomercials at that time than repeats of The Late Show. Perhaps classic Letterman episodes would rate better than the Colbert ones.
The Late Show rated quite well with new episodes and was very competitive especially in demos. Even in repeat mode last night there was a descent audience; a lot more than any infomercial and higher than what was on Seven (Village) and Nine (Tipping Point)
Itâs amazing how Ten can get the actors of an American soapie to make a specific promo for them but they donât do the same for their Australian programs.
So masked singer weekly until The Voice finishes?
So I guess dog house rpts on Sunday?
Changes to this weekâs schedule. Note that The Late Show with Stephen Colbert has returned to the schedule Monday to Friday now listed as repeat episodes.

Close - Badly behaved dogs instead.
That Sunday schedule single-handily ruins their momentum for the rest of the week.
Theyâll quickly turn Sunday into the ratings on Fridays and Saturday if they continue to run dead like that.
I think it is just a temporary measure. I am sure it will launch new shows on Sunday October 8, the week after NRL grand final.
Four weeks of repeat programming at 7:30pm on a Sunday is a recipe for disaster. I definitely see your point but not sure itâs the right strategy.
Itâs frustrating they donât/canât? draw on more of the paramount Aussie content - one night, last king of the cross etc. Sure, let those shows have their first runs on streaming but then after that⌠people who want to watch it on demand will continue to do so and it might actually engage people that are still on linear (or whet their appetite to go across to P+ for the rest).
Because if they start doing that people will not subscribe to Paramount Plus because they know if they wait theyâll get it for free on 10. They will never do that. They want the subscribers for Paramount because thatâs where the future is.
Not to mention they are also two different entities. 10 might not be âallowedâ to air Paramount content as they please. It might take special permission.
