Ten Network - Programs and Schedules

The Project repeat was shown last night after L&O.

I was going to say, it is clear Ten air the repeat for budgetary reasons. Would have been very unusual for them to skip it last night.

I would say the reason they must air the repeat is that they need to meet Australian content quotas. So with a lot of American shows in the schedules, they need to have these repeats.

Yeah, its cheaper to rerun than make something.

Just as we praise 10 for having first-run content from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, it decided to move up Gogglebox to 7.30pm rather than starting another new show.

What new show though?

10 has previously scheduled Todd Sampson’s Mirror Mirror: Love & Hate for the second half of this year. Is it ready to go?

Wasn’t that the name for season 2? Probably a repeat.

It’s a new season, according to 10’s press release from June 22.

Good question, they don’t have a lot to fill all of the timeslots until the end of the year hence why we’re getting Gogglebox at 7:30 again.

There was another season of Ambulance Australia announced at the upfronts last year, which hasn’t seen the light of day yet?

Otherwise, the only other series due to come this year that we know of, other than another Todd Sampson special are Amazing Race, Dessert Masters, The Bachelors and Paper Dolls.

Has The Late Show been axed altogether or just moving to streaming sites?

B&B time change promo, which includes new early evening lineup of Neighbours & 10 News First. They’re using the “switch on” news style and tagline for this change.

Haven’t all the late night chat shows stopped production because of the writer’s strike?

I remember when Letterman paused due to the ‘08 strike, we ended up with classic episodes for a while including some in original 4:3 (pre-widescreen days). Was a good watch. Wonder why they are stopping the repeats now with Colbert rather than using the over five years’ worth of catalogue.

I read somewhere Stephen Colbert just signed a new deal in June and the EPG still lists it on 10Peach, or are they repeats?

They’ve been repeats for a number of weeks now due to the writers strike.

10 are stopping them as of this Wednesday (from memory). Assuming it will stay on Peach because it is a repeats channel

Have they changed their mind about putting Bold on at 4.30 Friday?
