Yes and it necessitated a bit of a change to the themes - taking the opportunity to remove some redundant styling

Agreed. The orange highlighting of new posts (which fades away after a second) has very little buffering around the text. Makes it look unfinished.

Just turned adblockers off, jeez they’re huge and so many of them.
I’ve tweaked the ads - some of Google’s ad sizes are really obscene

I don’t really mind the narrow banner ads, but those larger ones were ridiculous.
how do i unmute a muted topic
At the bottom of every thread you will find a set of buttons (circled in blue).
Click the button I circled in green.
Then you will see a few options. If you want a count of new replies for this thread, your best bet is to click “Tracking” (like I’ve already done - it’s highlighted in orange):
