Based on this - a quick schedule idea, where TV3 in NZ became a news channel during the day:

5.30am AM Early
6am AM
9am Newshub Now (rolling news)
11.30 ITV News at Ten
12pm Newshub Now
1.30 7 Morning News (live from Sydney)
2pm Newshub Now
5.30 Sport Today (new show - pretty self-explanatory)
6pm Newshub Live at 6
7pm Ryan Bridge
7.30 Primetime schedule; as now
10.30 Nightline (rebranded - or debranded? - Newshub Late)
11.00 Late night schedule; as now
~1.00am Informercials (or alternatively, relay CNN International)

Weekends would stay as they are now - usual mix of repeats, NZOA stuff and the odd sporting event.

So, hypothetically speaking, Newshub-branded bulletins, AM, AM Early, and the now-defunct Ryan Bridge 7pm project continue beyond July 6 on a revamped, semi-news-focused Three, despite the brand and broader division being axed due to cost-cutting? Realistically, it’s a stretch to imagine the Newshub brand making a comeback. It’s more plausible that WBD would leverage content from their owned entities such as CNN, HLN, etc., to populate slots if Three transitioned to a news/general entertainment format.

Noooo… not at all. This was purely hypothetical, if Three had decided to make more of their news division. It is NOT a prediction of the future or anything like that… if anything I think it’s much more likely Three itself will close down within the next 18 months.
