An unusually high rating for Today Extra om Thursday 20k ahead of TMS and 30k ahead in the last 30 minutes. The win was off the back of big wins in Melbourne and Brisbane mirroring the earlier breakfast show rankings. Today Extra even outrated Sunrise in Melbourne.

Looks like it’s a switch off from Sunrise at 9am, and viewers moving over to Today Extra
The fact that morning TV ratings are pretty low generally indicates there is a switch off from TV altogether rather than switching networks.

I notice that Richard Wilkins gets a credit as a “newscaster” in the new BBC/ABC comedy Queen of Oz. So far he hasn’t appeared on screen, just a voice over.
