As expected, 10 have axed Blind Date and Game of Games.

No decision on How to Stay Married (surprising given TV Blackbox’s exclusive) or Russell Coight, but might be back next year.

As we know, Shark Tank and Secret Life of 4 year olds won’t air this year but may return in future.

Also, it seems 10 just can’t close the door on Offspring just yet.

They need to let it go

I was a bit surprised that The Secret Life of 4 Year Olds won’t air this year. It’s quite a good show.

With 10 wrapping up Mr Black on Tues 18th with a double episode finale, I think they might launch Body Hack the following Tuesday on 25th June.

Not sure why they’re so keen to get through Mr Black. That’s one less week of new post-8.30 Tuesday content now available for the end of the year. No doubt we’ll have at least a week of repeat 8.30 content nearer the end of the year.

Harley Breen talking to Fitzy and Wippa this morning revealed there are three new episodes and then the pilot will be replayed.

Adam Goodes Film: The Final Quarter.

Coming Soon

It’s the film that had the AFL world talking ahead of its premiere at The Sydney Film festival on 7 June. Now, 10 and WIN Network will bring the confronting and powerful documentary The Final Quarter to television audiences.

Champion footballer and Indigenous leader Adam Goodes became a lightning rod for heated public debate and widespread media commentary that divided the nation during the final three years of his playing career.

He publicly called out racism, was named Australian of the Year, was accused of staging for free kicks, and performed an on-field war dance celebration.

The cheers became boos as football crowds turned on him.

Using only archival footage aired at the time, The Final Quarter film holds a mirror to Australia and is an opportunity to reconsider what happened on and off the football field.

The Final Quarter is a Shark Island Productions film and directed by award-winning film maker Ian Darling.

There is another documentary written by Stan Grant that is being released in August. Goodes story is coming to the fore again.

Maybe but its been in the news a lot in the last week due to the apology.

The apology came about because of the documentaries…

That’s right I didn’t realise this was one of the documentaries. I thought it was something that had already aired. Should have read the article.
