Its not but everything is down. It might be a surprise but I am not expecting it to rate 1 million. 600k would be a success for ten.
Agree with you there. If it gets anywhere near the ratings Bachelor is now, i.e 600-700k, it would be considered a success for Ten.
Why canât Ten update their EPG before shows screen?
Itâs 12:23pm and they currently have âTo Be Advisedâ for 1pm to 2.30pm.
Really? Thatâs poor from.
I know other networks such as Seven often have TBAs until late on the EPG, but someone always manages to update them at least on the day of broadcast at some stage.
Even a recent Dirty Harry film on 7mate was given an incorrect âPGâ classification on the EPG and stayed there for like a week. But was noticed and changed correctly to âMA15+â about a day before broadcast.
So clearly networks (at least some) have staff who are assigned to scan over their guides / EPGs and check for TBAs/errors, etc.
WIN donât. The times on the EPG are usually wrong every night.
they donât have specific people for that. itâs like a programming script where the epg data is received from the scheduling software in programming.
Obviously there is a failure somewhere in the chain for TEN.
Wasnât sure of the correct thread for this to go in, but Ten Sydney sports reporter Michael Cain doing some filming today for an upcoming documentary series âPassionate Playersâ for the network.
Edit:
Ten are going all out for Ambulance, which is starting Saturday 21st April. Never seen them push so hard for a show on a Saturday.
Yeah Iâm sick of seeing the ad for it, especially on tenplay but I remember they also tried quite hard when they shifted new SVU to Saturday nights and also when they tried Scorpion, MacGyver and Hawaii Five-O on Saturdayâs also.
Not sure what makes them think Ambulance will work, but theyâre doing something at least.
Show Me The Movie will be ending in the next 2-3 weeks. Joel Creasy is heading over to the US and then off to Eurovision.
Theyâre still after audience members for 24 April. No idea how many episodes are in the can already but based on the booking site they tape one episode at a time.
I would say that could maybe be the second last or last episode as Eurovision starts May 9th.
I would say the last considering Joel Creasey is scheduled to appear live in London on the 1st of May.
Iâd say Ten would do 8 episodes as they did with Hughesy initially and tonightâs ep is the fourth, so they may have a few in the can.
Last weekâs episode featuring Nicholas Hammond may have been recorded earlier because they showed footage of Rove from it, before the first episode screened.
Schedule change:
Monday 16 April
09:00 pm Father of the Bride (1991)
Thursday 19 April
08:30 pm Law and Order SVU: S19 Ep18 (ex Ep19)
The following Monday it is Pretty Woman at 9pm Monday
What do you mean by S19 Ep 18 with (ex Ep19) in brackets?
I think previously ten had new episodes scheduled on Monday and Thursday nights, meaning ep 19 was actually due to air on Thursday night but will probably be pushed back a week now that the show will only air once a week.
Big loss for Seven
