The tragic story of Chernobyl began in the 1960s at the height of the cold war. If Fremantle beat Western Bulldogs in this Saturday’s elimination final, the Dockers’ semi-final clash (against the loser of Geelong v Collingwood qualifying final) may be held in the afternoon on September 10, to allow Dockers players to fly back to Perth later that night. In that case, the semi final will be shown live on main channel in Perth.

I know 10 used to telecast live VFA on Sunday afternoons in the 1980s (before the VFL was allowed to fixture games on Sundays). Not sure if this was Vic only or also aired in other states.
