Actually, the video wasn’t removed. Maybe it is an issue with your computer not playing it

I’ve seen that several times great Jingle but would love to see a better quality version should one exist.

its a MP4 conversion from a very primitive RM file i got over 20 years ago - whoever had the VHS tape that the RM file came from is unknown to me.

Firefox can’t handle it, Chrome seems to (sometimes that happens here).

If you haven’t seen the link above, it was one of SES-8’s “Town of the Month” jingles/idents, circa mid-1990s (the one posted above relating to Port MacDonnell). There are a few of those examples on YouTube but they had a few different versions of the jingle, so a welcome contribution still.

This Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? opener from 2004 has similar elements to the aforementioned Human Nature music video, in the sense that there’s a maze and electrodes.

That was when WWTBAM was actually great to watch.

Plus you could walk away with any amount that you had already won, unlike on Hot Seat wherein any values were pointless in the sense that you couldn’t walk away with (for example) $10,000 after you had correctly answered question 10.

The limited time for each question on that format meant contestants were sometimes rushed into giving an answer and then getting it wrong.

Interesting that DDDQ 10/4/5A showed Hey Hey It’s Saturday (as per return PRG) in 1983 (before it went national overnight. Now I can only guess this was delivered to them via videotape as I can’t think on how they received a feed possibly via TCN on the microwave bearer (pre-Aussat)? Saying that, did the NSW regionals need the the others stations to take the same feed for the signal to travel north etc.? Knowing that QTQ never took the morning version, does anybody know (not guessing) how they would have received the program from Melbourne? The same goes with the regionals taking news/sport/variety shows live from Sydney or Melbourne (pre-Aussat) without the help of a capital city station? SEQ8 Maryborough also took HHIS in the early 80’s as this was the first time I’d ever seen or heard of the show (I was only 8 or 9 years old at best).

I was a teenager. It was on 2 week delay on SEQ. Initially it was shown at 8.30am, then moved to something like 9.30 (maybe 10.00) when SEQ started its own Super Saturday show with Wes Crook.
HHIS appeared on RTQ also but it was delayed 6 weeks! Made references to music Top 5 etc a little outdated lol

So there you go. I’m guessing GTV made a video tape copy and as per procedure of the day, was received by the local station put to air and then sent on to the next station in the chain to broadcast as so on. The question though still remains off topic, were regional station able to take Sydney or Melbourne feeds via the microwave bearer without other stations in the chain (including capital stations such as Brisbane) without them taking the program? You would think at least it was technically possible. Nobody has ever really explained to me how exactly the regionals opted into the programs available on the Telecom bearer and how they could send return links such as the '84 Olympic special screened nationally on Network 10.

I also remember when 7HD was revived in May 2016, it only simulcast the main channel in Melbourne and Adelaide, while in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth it simulcast 7mate; this was to allow AFL matches in those markets to be shown in high definition.

Those markets switched to a HD simulcast of the main channel ahead of the Summer Olympics that year, then switched back to 7mate before the switcheroo once again took place ahead of the 2017 Australian Open, after which 7HD in those three markets remained permanent.

These days, 7mate is now a permanent HD channel, as it always initially was when it was launched in 2010.

And thank goodness. The constant switching of HD channels was really frustrating
