Nine Network - Programs and Schedules

Definitely HD, (except for a few pre-recorded segments). Without knowing, I’m guessing using one or two HD trucks similar to NRL games that are produced here. Nothing is coming from the QTQ studios on Mt Coot-tha.

Ironic that there is no HD bug.

Most likely NEP OB trucks.

RBT:

Promo just said “for the first time on 9Go!”.

Triple ep tonight, head-to-head with triple ep of Highway Patrol on 7Mate.

A smart move by Ch 9, noticing that the repeats of Highway Patrol on 7Mate had been winning their time slots/getting big ratings/demos :+1:

Pretty sure Highway Patrol & RBT have both finished their respective Season 8 / Season 7 for 2016.

KEVIN CAN WAIT

TONIGHT AT 8.00PM ON NINE

Emmy Award-nominated actor Kevin James, one of Hollywood’s favourite personalities, returns to television in the family comedy series Kevin Can Wait, which premieres tonight at 8.00pm on Nine.

James has achieved worldwide success for his roles in The King of Queens television series plus the film hits Hitch and I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry.

In his latest co-creation, James plays newly retired police officer Kevin Gable, who is looking forward to spending more time with his family. However, he quickly faces tougher challenges at home than he ever faced on the job.

Kevin’s dream of living the good life in retirement will have to wait when he discovers that Donna (Erinn Hayes), his wife of 20 years, has shielded him from the secrets of his three children while he worked overtime protecting the community.

Also starring in the series are fellow retirees Goody, his former partner and close friend, played by Leonard Earl Howze, his oldest pal Duffy (Lenny Venito) and his brother Kyle (Gary Valentine).

Guest stars featuring throughout the season will include Adam Sandler, Ray Romano and Gina Brillon.

Wild New Zealand ended up not airing and RBT is on, three schedule changes in one week is pretty ridiculous.

Was there any reason that RBT didn’t start until 7.42, that must be close to a record for a 7.30 program, I know 8.30 means between 8.28-8.55 but 7.30 is usually within 5 minutes.

It was pretty much the same for The Big Bang Theory last night.

VICTORIA’S SECRET FASHION SHOW 2016

Thursday 8 December at 8.30pm

The pinnacle of beauty, fashion, music and entertainment is back when the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show celebrates its 21st anniversary with a one-hour special on Thursday, December 8 at 8.30pm on Channel Nine.

This year the show was filmed in Paris at the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, with exclusive interviews from the pink carpet, model profiles and a behind-the-scenes look at the most talked about catwalk event in the world.

The Victoria’s Secret Angels featuring in the fashion spectacular include Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio, Lily Aldridge, Behati Prinsloo, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner, Elsa Hosk, Jasmine Tookes, Josephine Skriver, Lais Ribeiro, Martha Hunt, Stella Maxwell and Taylor Hill. Bella Hadid, sister of Gigi, will make her debut this year – making them the first sisters ever to be given their wings.

Joining the dazzling Angels will be musical performances from Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars and The Weeknd.

And who could miss the annual unveiling of the fabulous, eye-popping fantasy bra? This year’s bra, worth $3 million and worn by Jasmine Tookes, has been designed by Eddie Borgo Jewellers. The dazzling creation boasts 9,000 gemstones and took 700 hours to make.

Prepare yourself for the sensory phenomenon that is the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show when the famous supermodels take to the runway in glamorous wings draped with dramatic jewels to put on the greatest runway extravaganza of the year.

I hope so! A late night talk show is what is missing on Australian TV.
I wonder if 7 will follow? Lady Emdur has always wanted to front his own talk show, he even filmed a pilot (Larry on Late) a few years ago. However, I don’t think he would be a great choice IMO.

Hopefully will be on TEN, not Nine.

Interesting comments online…

As mentioned the article states the secret pilots were recently filmed in Pyrmont, which is very interesting with recent information on another forum suggesting that an audience call went out recently for some secret pilots being filmed for TEN recently.

and

“in the same studio where Nine tapes Today at Pyrmont” (D.Tele). Um, Nine doesn’t “tape” Today, do they? And if they did where at “Pyrmont” would that be done? Is the rest of their story as inaccurate as this? Hopefully will be on TEN, not Nine.

Today is broadcast live to air from Studio 22 at TCN Willoughby, Ten (and I believe also Fox Sports along with some of Sydney’s radio stations) is the TV network which has it’s Sydney studios at Pyrmont!

Get your facts right, Daily Telegraph!

So in that case Rove could be back on Ten?

Totally off topic, but Fox Sports moved to Pacific Highway in Artarmon about 3 years ago…near the old ABC site at Gore Hill.

Whoever the host is, FTA is sorely lacking a variety/chat show. I’m all for a network taking a risk and giving one a try.

Ahh, I must’ve forgot about that. Thanks!

Yeah, hopefully these variety/chat show rumours develop into something this time!

Doesn’t look like a late-night talkshow

That idea sounds awful. It needs to be a chat show or forget about it.
