Could Australian Ninja Warrior: State of Origin air the following week? Or will it be the new season of The Block?

Does that mean we are about to get three months of The Block?

Quite likely.

Enjoy with the nauseating product placement for Monopoly, Maccas and Alexa (and so much more…which will make Carols in the Domain look relatively high quality by comparison) :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:.

lol. Of course Nine will extend The Block. They will add their usual silly challenges, to coincide with their overexposure of product placement - while the contestants will be doing little to no actual “building”. This magic formula has apparently worked in previous seasons.

No doubt that Nine will also milk the pandemic-related suspension of production at The Block for all it’s worth in ridiculously over the top promos which are essentially the TV equivalent of clickbait!

Have they finished filming The Block?

Yes they finished the filming bar the auctions last month.

Assuming this will either air after The Block one night to tie-in to the renovating genre, or will be used a filler for one night to extend the season to get more out of it due to the current situation.

Nine running way overtime tonight. Looks like movie won’t start until 9:30 - that’s a huge 2 hours of Ninjas.

Surviving Jeffrey Epstein

Monday 10 August at 9:25pm Tuesday 11 August at 8:30pm

Over the course of 20 years, elusive billionaire Jeffrey Epstein allegedly ran a global sex trafficking ring targeting young girls for himself and his cabal of rich and powerful friends. He was also accused of using his extreme wealth and influence to cover his predation.

Following his August 10, 2019 death by suicide, Epstein took one more thing from his victims: a chance to face their accuser and to finally see justice prevail.

Surviving Jeffrey Epstein gives a voice to those survivors. Through first-hand accounts of what survivors endured as part of Epstein’s alleged sex trafficking activities, this doco also examines the “high class” society that let it happen.

Nine is showing Surviving Jeffrey Epstein same day as the US (part 1 airs Sunday night local time on Lifetime, part 2 is on Monday).

Looks like it’s TVNZ show Cold Case which aired over two seasons in 2018 and 2019. Barclay, who was 29, went missing from her Dunedin home on September 17, 2002. When her episode was shown in NZ in August 2018, dozen of new tips flowed in.
