I don’t understand why any Australian network would pay for Kevin Can Wait outside of an output agreement unless it came as part of a package deal; I remember Seven got some very ordinary sitcoms like Men at Work when they purchased The Blacklist.
Back in the 2000s Nine had the terrible James comedy King of Queens, which I recall was burned off at 7:00pm over summer non-ratings for a few years, because they had the CBS deal.
International superstar illusionist and magician David Blaine will bring his phenomenal talents to the Nine Network in the fast-tracked special David Blaine: Beyond Magic at 8.30pm tomorrow night on Nine.
In this television special event Blaine continues his tradition of mixing mind-blowing stunts and up-close street magic to create a one-of-a-kind viewing experience that viewers will have to see to believe.
Three years after his last television special, the renowned illusionist is back with an incredible new show featuring a line-up of A-list celebrities.
Making cameo appearances in the hour-long special will be Margot Robbie, John Travolta, Emma Stone, David Beckham, Drake, Patrick Stewart, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dave Chappelle, Steph Curry and Johnny Depp.

Wow, is this year’s Telethon Countdown the first local program from Nine Brisbane to be produced in native HD?! The picture quality certainly looks far better than what we’ve come to expect from QTQ local productions, judging by those caps…
