Nickelodeon’s brand-new and highly anticipated preschool series, Baby Shark’s Big Show! , is set to make a splash when it premieres on Monday, 17 May at 9am (AEST) on Nick Jr.

Co-produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio and SmartStudy, the global entertainment company behind the beloved children’s brand Pinkfong, the series follows Baby Shark and his best friend William as they journey on fun-filled comedic adventures in their community of Carnivore Cove, make new friends and sing original catchy tunes along the way.

Baby Shark’s Big Show! features a swim-sational lineup of voice actors including: Kimiko Glenn (Orange is the New Black), as Baby Shark; Luke Youngblood (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone), as William; Natasha Rothwell (Insecure), as Mommy Shark; Eric Edelstein (We Bare Bears), as Daddy Shark; Debra Wilson (MADtv), as Grandma Shark; and Patrick Warburton (Seinfeld), as Grandpa Shark.

The series is executive produced by Gary DiRaffaele (Breadwinners) and Tommy Sica (Breadwinners), with Whitney Ralls (My Little Pony: Equestria Girls) serving as co-executive producer. The series is produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio in Burbank, Calif., with production overseen by Eryk Casemiro, Senior Vice President, Nickelodeon Preschool.

Alexa, Play Blue’s Clues & You!

Today, Josh, Blue and their crew are inviting kids across Australia to play Blue’s Clues & You! in a whole new way!

The brand new Blue’s Clues & You! Listen and Play Alexa skill from Nickelodeon, will have preschoolers jumping for joy as their favourite characters come to life at home and take them on fun-filled clue-led adventures.

Available now on Alexa-enabled devices, the skill encourages preschoolers to use their imaginations and practice listening and critical thinking, while helping Josh figure out Blue’s Clues.

With 10 different storylines, there’s a new adventure every time you play, featuring friends like Magenta, Tickety Tock, Shovel and Pail, and more.

A remake of the ground-breaking, curriculum-driven interactive series Blue’s Clues, Blue’s Clues & You! has a new generation of preschoolers searching for clues with beloved puppy Blue and new live-action host Josh (Josh Dela Cruz).

The series features new CG-animation for Blue and Magenta, brand-new elements and refreshed iconic items from the original series including The Thinking Chair, an updated Handy Dandy Notebook equipped with smartphone technology and the return of fan-favourite characters.

Nickelodeon’s hit comedy series Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan returns for a jam packed second season on Monday, 23 August at 5.30pm on Nickelodeon.

In the premiere episode, Dylan (Dylan Gilmer) gets ready to return to Chicago with his mother when a change in the plan causes him to question their relationship and prompts the Wilson family to help him through this latest crisis.

Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan follows hip-hop mogul-in-training Dylan as he continues his pursuit of stardom, while getting his family into hilarious hijinks along the way. Accompanying Dylan in his quest for music greatness are his uncle Myles (Carl Anthony Payne II), aunt Yasmine (Mieko Hillman), grandmother Viola (Aloma Lesley Wright), cousins Rebecca (Celina Smith) and Charlie (Hero Hunter), and Rebecca’s best friend Bethany (Jet Miller).

The series is executive produced and created by Tyler Perry. Michelle Sneed serves as executive producer, with Will Areu and Mark E. Swinton serving as producers.

Nickelodeon Sets The Stage For Drama Club.

All New Mockumentary-Style Comedy Series. Premieres Monday, 6 September At 5.30pm On Nickelodeon.

The curtains have risen on Nickelodeon’s new mockumentary-style comedy series, Drama Club , which will premiere on Monday, 6 September at 5.30pm.

From creators and executive producers Monica Sherer and Madeline Whitby, Drama Club follows a group of middle schoolers as they shine a light on the inner workings of their school’s overlooked drama club.

In the premiere episode, the Tookus Middle School drama club has a new student director who is excited to take over, change the school’s perception of the club, and earn their new principal’s support. However, when their choreographer suffers an injury, the kids quickly realise that their only hope to save the situation is to turn to a rival on their school’s beloved football team for help.

Drama Club stars Telci Huynh ( God Friended Me ) as Mack; Nathan Janak ( All That ) as Oliver; Lili Brennan ( Silicon Valley ) as Darcy; Kensington Tallman ( Side Hustle ) as Bianca; Chase Vacnin ( The Many Saints of Newark ) as Bench and Artyon Celestine ( Dancing with the Stars: Juniors ) as Skip.

The original series marks the return of the globally renowned characters to television for the first time in nearly 40 years and follows Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Brainy, Hefty, Clumsy and the other inhabitants of Smurf Village on all-new adventures, packed with humour, heart and high-stakes action. In the premiere episode Smurf-Fu , when Smurfette rescues Brainy from a giant snake, the other Smurfs ask her to teach them Smurf-Fu and next in, Diaper Daddy, when everyone is tired of changing Baby’s diapers, Handy decides to invent a robot that will do the job.

The Patrick Star Show is the second spinoff of the popular animated series SpongeBob SquarePants and follows a younger Patrick Star living at home with his family, where he hosts his own variety show for the neighbourhood from his television-turned-bedroom.

Long-time voice of Patrick Star, Bill Fagerbakke lends his voice as the young adult Patrick alongside new cast members: Tom Wilson ( SpongeBob SquarePants ) as Cecil Star; Cree Summer ( Rugrats ) as Bunny Star; Jill Talley ( SpongeBob SquarePants ) as Squidina Star and Dana Snyder ( The Penguins of Madagascar ) as GrandPat Star. Summer also voices Grandma Tentacles, Squidward’s Grandma.

The misadventures of Big Nate are coming to Nickelodeon and Paramount+. The all-new animated series produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio is based on the best-selling children’s books and comic strip written and drawn by acclaimed author and cartoonist Lincoln Peirce. The series, which will premiere on Nickelodeon on Monday, 21 February and stream on Paramount+ from Tuesday, 22 February, follows a precocious 11-year-old boy named Nate and his best friends as they navigate sixth grade with humour and style.

Big Nate will feature brand-new original storylines centered on Nate, a sixth-grade kid who has a never-ending need to prove his awesomeness to the world. Whether he’s dealing with disasters at home or detention at school, Nate Wright is no stranger to a challenge. Luckily, he’s able to express himself through the world of cartoons that he creates. Charming, mischievous and a magnet for misadventure, Nate always finds a way to turn trouble into fun.

In the series premiere, The Legend of the Gunting , Nate has multiple detentions on the docket, per usual. But this time he is only one detention away from a fate only whispered about in the halls of P.S. 38. Meanwhile, the unhinged new kid is determined to become Nate’s prank partner. Nickelodeon’s hit crime-fighting live-action series Danger Force , is back and set to pack a punch when it returns for season two on Monday, 21 March at 5.30pm. The new season will kick off with an epic four-part event and culminate with the return of Jace Norman ( Henry Danger ) as Henry Hart.

In the season two premiere of Danger Force , notorious villain Rick Twitler (David Blue) returns to Swellview with a devious plan to control Mika’s mind through an intense virtual reality video game and use her powers to destroy the internet. Danger Force must free Mika of Rick Twitler’s control before the world reverts back to the Dark Ages forever. The new season will also feature fan-favourite villains from the “Danger-verse” returning, including: Frankini (Frankie Grande), Drex (Tommy Walker), The Toddler (Ben Giroux), Jeff (Ryan Grassmeyer) and Mitch Bilsky (Andrew Lewis Caldwell), among others.

Actress Miranda Cosgrove ( iCarly ) and NFL superstar Rob Gronkowski will take on the slimiest roles of their lives as co-hosts of Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2022 , premiering on Monday, 11 April at 5pm on Nickelodeon.

Broadcast from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, for the first time ever, the show will feature a night filled with 1,000 epic slimings and dozens of fun-filled pranks celebrating fan-favourite stars across the worlds of film, television, music, sports and more.

Miranda Cosgrove, said: “The Kids’ Choice Awards is such a unique show with tons of energy, superstars and of course, lots of slime. Nickelodeon has always been my family and to co-host this iconic show alongside Gronk will be a blast!”

Nickelodeon Launches Intergalactic Shorts Program 2.0 – An All New Global Search For Animation Talent.

Rock, Paper, Scissors, The First Series To Be Greenlit From Original 2019 Program Makes Worldwide Short Debut At Annecy International Animation Film Festival.

Nickelodeon’s Intergalactic Shorts Program 2.0 is opening its search for new and diverse creators from across the globe, focusing on new voices and nurturing their vision for original comedy-driven content with an eye toward representation. Today’s announcement was made by Ramsey Naito, President, Nickelodeon Animation and Paramount Animation.

Originally launched in 2019, Rock, Paper, Scissors marks the first finalised short to be greenlit for series from the inaugural program. In the short, the iconic trio of Rock, Paper, and Scissors lovingly compete with one another in this buddy comedy about the joy and messiness of friendship. Six additional projects from 2019 are currently in production at Nickelodeon, with additional information available soon.

Nickelodeon will debut Rock, Paper, Scissors during a special Nickelodeon Animation presentation at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival on Thursday, 16 June.

“We knew we were onto something special with creators Kyle Stegina and Josh Lehrman and their hilarious characters in Rock, Paper, Scissors , which we are so proud to bring to series,” said Naito.

“Finding and growing talent through the process of pitch to hit is what powers our Intergalactic Shorts Program, and we can’t wait to get started finding the next great creator in animation through our program’s just-launched second phase.”

The original Rock, Paper, Scissors short and series are created, written, and executive produced by Kyle Stegina ( Robot Chicken ) and Josh Lehrman ( Robot Chicken ), with Conrad Vernon ( Sausage Party ) and Bob Boyle ( The Fairly OddParents ) serving as executive producers on the series.

Through the 2022 Program, Nickelodeon will accept ideas from a global pool of storytellers and creative visionaries including artists, writers, and directors. Shorts will run on Nickelodeon’s platforms and are in the process of being developed into long-form animated series.

Shorts should feature one-of-a-kind, character-driven comedy and surprising storytelling, combining humour with action-adventure, mystery, sci-fi, and more. In line with Nickelodeon’s mission to make the best, original humour-driven content for kids, these creator-driven shorts offer content that is appealing to all members of the family, featuring a co-viewing lens of preschool (K 2-5) and big kids (K 6-11).

Nickelodeon Sets Out For Adventure In The Barbarian And The Troll.

All-New Live-Action Puppet Comedy Series. Premieres Monday, 18 July At 11.45am On Nickelodeon.

The quest is yet to come in Nickelodeon’s all-new live-action puppet comedy series, The Barbarian and the Troll.

The series, which will premiere on Monday, 18 July at 11.45am on Nickelodeon, follows Evan, a bridge troll in search of adventure and Brendar, a fierce female warrior on a quest to defeat the evil demon who has imprisoned her brother.

In the series premiere, Evan the troll decides to burn his bridge and venture out into the world of Gothmoria for the first time to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a singer. He soon meets Brendar, who had been expelled from the Royal Order of Warrior Princesses and is now known as a “feared and revered” barbarian. After Evan convinces Brendar to bring him on her quest to vanquish the evil demon, they cross treacherous terrain to confront bizarre and magical creatures and encounter an eclectic puppet cast of wacky characters.

The series stars Spencer Grammer (Rick & Morty) as the voice of Brendar, Gothmoria’s most feared and revered warrior; and Drew Massey (Mutt & Stuff, Sid the Science Kid) as Evan, a bridge troll with a dream of becoming a singer.
