A lot of people took advantage of it. I know of around 50 people today saw it on social media and used it.
It’s been corrected now, but interested to see if people get cancelled and refunded or charged the remaining amount

One Of 2021’s Finest Dramas Is Here.

American Rust, Starring Jeff Daniels And Maura Tierney, Streaming Now On Paramount+.

A compelling family drama and timeless story about good people making bad choices, American Rust is the gritty and engrossing drama series based on Philipp Meyer’s lauded novel of the same name.

Streaming exclusively on Paramount+, the unflinching new series stars Emmy® winner Jeff Daniels (who also serves as an Executive Producer) as Del Harris, the complicated and compromised chief of police of a Pennsylvania Rust Belt town, who is forced to decide how far he’s willing to go when the son of the woman he loves (Emmy nominee Maura Tierney) is accused of murder .

Take a harrowing journey to a small town with big secrets, where people are driven by loyalty, love and desperation – and bad choices come far too easy, in American Rust.

As posted in Nickelodeon thread, The Smurfs will be streaming on Paramount+ from September 25.

Labeled as a Paramount+ Original (rather than exclusive), but I believe this is a Comedy Central documentary.

Looks like new CBS procedural NCIS Hawaii coming exclusively to Paramount+.

I mentioned this other day, but it could just be fast tracked there and also air on 10 too.

It was announced the other day that new episodes of NCIS are being fast tracked to P+ now too.

Well if they push all first run to paramount+ they need new 8:30 content for a minimum of 40 weeks per year.

This is not related to the local service, but the new Inside the NFL set for Paramount+ (was previously on Showtime) is absolutely amazing.

Couldn’t ever see something like this or on this scale being done in Australia, WWOS/Stan Sport is kinda close I guess, but we can only dream.

ViacomCBS Team Up With Tony Bennett And Lady Gaga For Global Cross Brand Takeover.

Coming Soon to Paramount+ And MTV.

ViacomCBS today announced a first of its kind talent partnership with icons Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga. The new and expansive deal covers multiple projects across the global entertainment and content company’s portfolio, including CBS, MTV Entertainment Group and Paramount+.

This initiative ties in with Bennett and Gaga’s new album, Love For Sale, the new collaborative album from Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga, will be released on October 1st on Columbia Records/Interscope. A celebration of the Cole Porter Song book, the album will be Tony’s last studio and is the culmination of Bennett and Gaga’s 10-year recording history. Their duet and title track “Love For Sale” will be released globally this Friday, with the accompanying video releasing as part of a MTV Global premiere on Saturday, 18 September on MTV Classic and MTV Hits.

“We are honoured to partner with the legendary Tony Bennett and the iconic Lady Gaga for ViacomCBS’ biggest cross-platform music talent collaboration to-date” said Bruce Gillmer, Chief Content Officer, Music, Paramount+ and President of Music, Music Talent, Programming & Events, ViacomCBS. “With the sweeping range of our unique brands and platforms, ViacomCBS offers an unparalleled one-stop shop for artists to showcase their global music releases and creative content of all varieties.”

“The ViacomCBS 360 partnership is innovative and clearly ahead of its time. It serves as an indication of what the future holds for the entire entertainment industry at large. The “one stop shopping” aspect of the partnership gives us the unprecedented ability to seamlessly launch and market “Love For Sale” on a global basis,” said Danny Bennett, son and long-time manager of Tony Bennett. “Bob Bakish and Bruce Gillmer understood and shared our vision and the historic nature of this project. Tony Bennett’s resurgence began in the 90’s with his MTV Unplugged and it’s timely that the last chapter ends on the same note.”

“MTV has been part of Tony Bennett’s story since the 90’s, and has been the home to some of the most iconic Lady Gaga moments consistently over her career,” shared Bobby Campbell, Lady Gaga’s manager. “We are proud to partner with ViacomCBS to bring the experience of “Love For Sale” to the world across platforms and generations.”

The ViacomCBS partnership includes the following which are coming soon to MTV and Paramount+:

MULTIPLE EXCLUSIVE GLOBAL VIDEO PREMIERES, INCLUDING THE UPCOMING DEBUT OF “LOVE FOR SALE”
MTV Classic will air the global video premiere of the album’s title track “Love For Sale” and additional songs to be announced at a later date, airing exclusively on MTV’s worldwide network of channels across 180+ regions with the support of the ViacomCBS Times Square Billboard.

Combining hours of footage from the studio and on the road, THE LADY AND THE LEGEND provides an intimate look into a beautiful friendship and musical partnership that transcends generations.

Paramount+ has released the trailer for Kate Beckinsale’s upcoming comedy series Guilty Party. The half-hour 10-episode series premieres in the US on October 14 (and soon after in Australia).

You wonder why paramount+ originals wouldn’t air here at the same day and time. Seems like a stupid strategy.

This was actually promoted on the today show today on 9.

I am sure ViacomCBS ANZ will put up a press release in the few next days, confirming same day and time premiere for Guilty Party.

This service continues to be extremely poor and way behind it’s rivals.

  • still no profiles
  • after promotion of NCIS S19 and NCIS Hawaii being dropped today, still nothing! They had a tile of Hawaii all day that when clicked it didn’t do anything and then it completely disappeared this afternoon.

Netflix, Stan, Disney all drop at 5/6pm. It’s a bloody guessing game with this service.

Tomorrow is the three part launch of FBI, FBI Most Wanted and FBI International. Let’s hope we have better luck with these programs.

Why is everything to do with 10 always a half arsed job?

Strangely they are there on the Paramount+ Through AppleTV App as I am watching NCIS: Hawaii now, but not on the Paramount+ app

Am using it now to watch Five Bedrooms and just started making a list of everything it doesn’t offer, and it’s a long list of fairly basic features you’d expect.

Among many other things there’s no autoplay for next episode, no option to skip opening titles, it doesn’t remember where you get up to if you come back later so you have to remember.

Content seems to be expanding which is great, but they really need to start introducing these features soon to keep people subscribed and around.

God knows how Football is going to work on the platform when that begins soon.
