Saturday 7 March 10:25 PM 9Go!
Seven and Nine’s broadcast networks filled with films tonight, rare to see all but a couple of channels, especially Seven who will often put alternatives on mate outside AFL season (Aussie outback factuals, Air Crash, etc) if main channel and flix have movies.
7, 7mate, 7flix, 7Bravo, 9, Go! and Gem and all with 2 or more movies except one of those. Some 15 titles.
Not often major commercial FTA around the world provides such content in 2026, often you’ll need cable or paid streaming, good for Australian viewers. And 7Plus at least usually upload on-demand bvod after airing too.
Certainly made for a sight. 23 films across today.
- Seven: 7Bravo 1, Seven & 7mate 2, 7flix 3 (one random night it kept to its name!)
- Nine: 9Gem 5, 9Go! 4, Nine 2
- ABC: Entertains 1 (12.15pm)
- SBS: NITV 2, one in the morning and the other at night
- Ten: Nickelodeon 1, main channel has… Survivor repeats
This seems so out of place to show on 7Mate
Indeed - but it is the “complementary” programming to what is on the main channel in places that aren’t getting AFL
Saturday 21 March 10:10 PM (10:00 Adelaide) Seven
Strewth! That Firth bloke sure gets around ![]()

Tuesday 24 March 12:10 PM 9Go!
Wednesday 25 March 12:10 PM 9Go!
Thursday 26 March 12:10 PM 9Go!
Saturday 28 March 8:30 PM Nine
I’ve noticed several 20th Century Fox and Touchstone/Hollywood Pictures titles appearing across SBS broadcast in recent weeks, they must’ve struck an agreement with Disney, who now have relationships with all CFTA networks it seems. No VOD rights for OnDemand however, in-line with Seven and Nine previously and continuing to strongly protect Disney Plus.
The forgotten 2002 Searchlight film Antwone Fisher starring Derek Luke and Denzel Washington (who also directed), a box office and critical success at the time, is next, but buried on NITV later tonight.
10 has a relationship with them? Since when?
In late 2024, 10 and 10 Peach Comedy were airing some animated Disney movies on weekends.
updated
Nice to see 10 airing a correct anamorphic print of classic Patriot Games tonight and it’s on the higher rating 10 Drama too
Call it whatever, but you have to have some sort of negotiation and liaison going on, given you’re broadcasting their clearly legally copyrighted IP!
And 10 aired Disney content from 2018, following the lapse of the old Seven output deal, then Nine and Stan and then Seven got some back and then after they’d acquired Fox and svod and bvod’s became big they ended up on Nine again and variously 7Plus, 9Now and now SBS. This is including TV series obviously.
Saturday 21 March 7.30pm Nickelodeon
FYI, that’s 7mate version.
7mate version but shown on the main channel.
