Enjoying this season so far .While its great to see former contestants competing again,its also interesting to see first time contestants who are just ordinary home cooks and to see some of them improve with their cooking as the season progresses.
For anyone like Rhiannon ,Laura and Sarah who finished 2ND in their season (s) they would be more determined to go 1 better this time.

The service challenge took place at The Squireâs Landing, at the northern end of Overseas Passenger Terminal at The Rocks in Sydney, again showcasing James Squireâs sponsorship of the show.

The contestants were divided into three teams of six. The twist was that three members from each team would be cooking in the kitchen at one time. Halfway through the 3 1/4 hour prep time, the other three members would come in to replace their teammates, and finish off the cooking.
The contestants would be cooking for 75 surf lifesavers.

Sumeet, who is currently working on her own line of sauces to be released at the end of the year, adds that MasterChef employs a large team of people to monitor food safety behind the scenes.
âWe actually have very active food teams that stand along the side. So you donât see them, but every bench has got a representative of the food team that stands watching this stuff,â she continues. âSo theyâre constantly watching to see that youâre not double dipping and anything that falls on the floor is picked up and thrown in the bin, because food hygiene is a very big part of it.
