Home and Away was Monday’s top entertainment offering ranking fifth overall. That gave Farmer Wants A Wife that followed a small boost to 842k. However, the second episode of Nine’s Lego Masters Grand Masters Of The Galaxy was number one at 7.30pm holding on to all of its launch episode’s audience to average 868k. That was just ahead of 7.30 on ABC with 852k.
Meanwhile, MasterChef’s viral week got off to a big start with an appearance by Sooshi Mango lifting the episode by 130k from the previous Monday to a season high 714k. That helped 10 post its second best overnight result of the year.
Following, Have You Been Paying Attention? posted a 50k increase to top 800k for a timeslot domination. ABC’s Four Corners came closet with 563k, but was down 230k week-on-week.
Over on Seven, the eighth season of 9-1-1 bee-gan with a double episode. Episode one managed 437k, a 100k increase on 9-1-1 Lone Star of the previous week while episode two had 371k.
Nine’s schedule was split with 100% Footy for rugby league fans just making the top 30 on 157k while Footy Classified in AFL territory had 159k.
Earlier, Australian Story’s look at Ange Postecoglou was up +50k to top 700k while A Current Affair on Nine hit an eight-week high.
Later, an encore of Taskmaster added another 275k to the season final while Picasso’s second episode on ABC had 230k.
Seven News was 60k clear of Nine at 6pm while Tipping Point had a 180k win at 5pm.
Sunrise had a good win at breakfast as Today slumped to just 280k, the show’s worst Monday rating of the year and down 70k on the previous week.
