Mr Stefan ACKERIE was awarded a Member (AM) in the General Division for significant service to business, and through support for charitable organisations.

While this was not for any media related work, Stefan was a regular on the early days of Brisbane television appearing on several programs and with his own programs on hairdressing.

There were 3 breaking news stories across both both Seven and Nine tonight! Amazing how many stories break in the 6pm - 6:45pm time period.

It looks good with the graded elements at the start, but when the “Breaking News” part vanishes it’s WAY too plain. Bright, stark red hurts the eyes. :persevere:

This fake news has a very familiar ring to it for Australians and highlights the dangers of getting news from unsubstantiated sources on Facebook and Twitter.

There was a clear agenda in Australia being pushed by climate change deniers and unfortunately here what should have been reputable sources were pushing this agenda and repeating the claims about arson.

The recent Royal Commission findings clearly concluding that the claims were false.

Not sure what the agenda is in the US.

It’s the same corrupt fossil fuel-backed disinformation campaign to downplay the real world impact of global warming by instead blaming non-existent arsonists, just as was seen in Australia earlier in the year.

They want to delay stopping pollution (carbon dioxide & methane in this case) just so they can get more money out of extracting & burning coal & petroleum, never mind that by doing so they are literally bringing on the collapse of the global economy (by making disaster recovery, repair, mitigation & insurance costs so high that they won’t be able to be afforded).

Breaking news of mass shooting is US tonight on 10 News before 6pm, Perhaps in a sign of the times, no room for a report on Seven or Nine’s bulletins at 6pm in Brisbane.
