ESPN had some NCAA College Soccer recently, can’t blame anyone for not noticing or caring though.
Fox Sports/Kayo to air new ANZ Premier League for darts
Good day for darts fan paying $40 for Kayo
Well that’s me.
To be honest, aside from Simon Whitlock, this is semi-pro stuff. I’d like to see it work, but they should have invested more into the DPA instead of creating the ADA. There is now 3 darts organisations in Australia, but to explain it, I’d need to go into another thread.
Australia’s longest running television sports show is closing down after 29 years.
What’s the Buzz: Groundbreaking Fox Sports show has run its race
Tinfoil hat on here, wonder if this type of show could be up 10s alley.
This is a great show. Sad to see it go.
Aussie TV presenter Hannah Hollis shares career news
Australian TV presenter Hannah Hollis has announced she’s departing Fox Sports after 10 years with the sports broadcaster, but will remain in her role as presenter on lifestyle show, Luxury Escapes. which is currently in production with Foxtel.
The presenter, who has earned a strong fanbase over the years for her work in sports broadcasting, will farewell Fox with her final appearance on Sunday’s netball coverage.
The star is no stranger to Luxury Escapes, having already featured on it in the second season.
Hollis is keen to stress she hasn’t turned her back on sports reporting – it remains her first love, and she’s eager to work more in the field in the future. Having finished up with Fox Sports, she will now look for new opportunities, mixing her passion for sport and entertainment.
Felt like she got squeezed out a little at Fox when Yvonne Sampson arrived and some other rearranging.
If someone can post screencaps of Hannah’s final appearance on the Foxtel Netball coverage thread, it will be appreciated
Wonder if one of the FTAs will take her?
Programming advisory for the 153rd Open Championship at Northern Ireland’s Royal Portrush. (As corrected below, Fox will take the host broadcaster feed.)
(Also, why does FS503, 505 and 506 show up as FS257, 259 and 260?)

Isn’t Sky Sports the host broadcaster for the Open Championship? Why will Fox take the feed from NBC rather than Sky Sports?
Yeah they will take the Sky Sports Feed.
Good question. If they showed up as 573, 575, 576 it would make some sense as these are the SD channel numbers. Those 200-range numbers make no sense to me, especially given 257 is channel 7mate!
This was the daytime lineup for America’s FS1 as of September 3, 2024.
As of yesterday (not even a year!), outside 12pm-5pm ET (which have survived, miraculously, a second time!), they have all gone. The most worrying thing is FS1 does not have a safe “plan B” to fall back on: No SportsCenter of any kind, and no live events of sports that will conveniently fill time, like… well, golf.
What should be the next move for them? Who knows anymore. And don’t even get me started on FS2 or Fox Soccer Plus.
I actually liked Breakfast Ball (I have access to US nets), because I’ve been a fan of Craigy C for a long while. Hopefully 'FAN can take him back a 3rd time (maybe with Boomer again). The rest of FS1 sucks, they should have never spilt up Undisputed all those years ago, and hopefully soon Cowherd is punted into a hellmouth.
