Fox Sports and Kayo will show the Wheelchair Rugby World Challenge, to be held at Netball SA Stadium in Adelaide from May 29 to June 1 this year. Australia will host the event in 2026 as well.

Foxtel struggling to find advertisers for the streamed versions of Fox Sports?
Noticing a lot more generic filler “returning soon” on both Foxtel Go and Kayo for all the Fox Sports channels in the last few weeks.

Exclusive AFL and NRL today and still can’t get ads up and running. Can’t be a good sign.

That’s usually when Foxtel iQ or Foxtel Movies ads are being shown - they’re not spots for advertisers
Somehow I don’t think Foxtel shows 3 minutes of Foxtel iQ spots at the end of every quarter.
Unless there has been a change recently, this isn’t true (especially on Foxtel Go)
During half time in Swans/Lions yesterday afternoon - I got no ads at all, just the “returning soon” screen

I’ve noticed for a few seasons now that often the last 30 seconds of the commercial break during NRL coverage on Foxtel Go would be replaced by a “Back Soon” holding screen.
How long has Foxtel Go been doing that? Its just that I seem to remember back before Kayo was around and there was only Foxtel now & Foxtel Go (Apart from standard Foxtel) both these platforms had ads.

Don’t think I’ve seen this mentioned anywhere (I only saw it this morning listed on Kayo) - Fox Sports are showing the UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-finals, coverage of the 1st leg between Arsenal and Lyon starts at 9:25pm AEST.
Pretty sure DAZN hold the rights to it in most territories, including Australia for what its worth…

Football on Foxtel for the first time in years. The Men’s Champions League will have to wait until 2027 for DAZN to get exclusive rights here. They also air the FIFA Club World Cup globally in the US in June/July 2025

But yes, I would be surprised if we didn’t see more DAZN content pop up on Fox Sports/Kayo from now on. Perhaps the FIFA Club World Cup may be one of those events?
