Possibly.
Hopefully it means Ten has finally had enough of Family Feud stinking up 6pm and simply returning Simpsons back to its traditional timeslot on Ten.

Why?
Why on earth canāt ten have something else at 6pm. Why the simpsons? Why not australian conent?
Iād say itās gone. 9GO donāt have their guide up for that week. Iām wondering if itās gone there?
Eleven changes
Sex and the Cityā¦ Gone.
The Simpsonsā¦ Gone.
Therefore Lukemoviemanā¦ GONE
This is actually really big news. Iām very keen to find out where it is. If Seven or Nine get it theyāll treat it right and show it everyday. Iām willing to bet weāll get weekend marathons etc like FOX8. Exciting times.
Could this mean Tenās output deal with 20th Century Fox is at risk since The Simpsons is included in the contract? Nine has picked up a few Fox-released movies in the past 12 months (e.g. Titanic), if it can get its hands on more Fox movies and programs it can bolster the line-ups for 9GO and 9Gem.
Iād say it is a victim of Tensās financial woes and renegotiation of the contract.
Happened in NZ. Mediaworks (TV3/FOUR) lost athe Simpsons (among other shows) back to TVNZ2 when it went into admin a couple of years back and the Fox deal was voided.
After Neighbours, The Simpsons is Elevenās second highest profile show. Losing the rights would be a massive blow to the channel.
Unless this is a strategic move - Murdoch is buying Ten and forcing viewers to pay for Foxtel to see The Simpsons?
Nine has had a deal with Fox for over a year now.
Is that how we get rid of you? No sex and no simpsons. Could be arranged
Yep. Nine would definitely want this to fill the void from The Big Bang Theory.
Hopefully someone from the media is following this up. We want answers!
How I Met Your Mother is also gone from Eleven.
at least they replaced it with new content rather than the same old content that they play over and over again.
What about Malcolm in the Middle? Futurama?
And FOUR Closed Down due to the Administraition replaced by Bravo NZ which NBC Universal Handles the Programming Supply and Mediaworks Handles the Advertising Sales.
Theyāre still in the schedule. Malcolm 7pm weeknights. Fresh Off The Boat 7.30 weeknights. Rules of Engagement is now 8pm Mon-Thurs replacing The Simpsons. Wednesday has triple episodes of Futurama from 8.30pm.
A possible answer to the questions re the FOX deal
So the removal of The Simpsons from the schedule is potentially temporary whilst negotiations with 20th Century Fox are in progress?
But that should affect all programming via the output deal, not just simpsons?
