Yep 7flix now MPEG4 in Melbourne. Still not receiving Bravo yet
Many tuners may not recognise 7Bravo as a channel until it has a stream.
Yep most likely the case. Iâm using a HdHomeRun
Yes -I have that as well and it doesnât show in the channel list, but it is detected when you analyse the multiplex.
Transport stream with no 7bravo
Channel names + EPG with 7bravo
Iâm glad they went with a lowercase âbâ on 7bravo
7HD is still in MPEG2-HD in Regional QLD.
Should convert the entire lineup to MPEG4 in RQLD and have 7flix in HD.
If its their âtesting areaâ then perhaps it could happen soon
A fairly typical poorly executed change. Advise viewers that they should recan after midday today. Then the new channel, the main reason for a scan, isnât available for most tuners, and those that do pick it us, the message is âno serviceâ. How many people are going to be looking through their user manuals for a solution. Should have been ready to go at midday.
I recorded 7Flix, but canât seen when the change from MGEG2 to 4 happened , seems to be seamless.
When I recorded the SC10 to WIN Nth NSW changeover in 2016-2017, the SC10 feed stopped mid way during an ad just after 1am and the screen stayed black after that for hours ⌠I could not see where or when the WIN feed started as a rescan was needed to see it.
So most likely people wonât see any technical transitional effect on screen at all - it will either be seamless or stop working completely.
Is that Ch65 placeholder in HD??!
Scanned this morning

75 7bravo | 0 |
76 7Flix | 1.46 |
78 Racing | 2.95 |
Very low numbers for 7Flix.
so I guess the next step for 7 regional (ex-prime 7) is for 7two to be HD
So glad Prime will get 7bravo. But why didnât they take this opportunity to renumber? So thereâll be a permanent gap on 63 now?
Does a placeholder really NEED to be in HD anyway?!
I think Seven will further adjust the bitrate prior to the launch of 7bravo, so 7flix doesnât become too blurry to watch.
On my tv it definitely is in HD
