Before the glitter, lights and action of the 2020 Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade, 10 Play will be dropping Out Here , a collection of LGBTQI+ focused documentaries. These three documentaries received funding through Network 10 and Screen Australia’s joint initiative Out Here to put a spotlight on the diversity of LGBTIQ+ lives and communities in regional Australia.
From an eco-conscious cattle farmer, who faces the loneliness of being a gay man in rural Australia, transgender women travelling to Korea for voice surgery or an up-close look at the journey of gay activism across two generations, Out Here is an eye-opening look at LGBTQI+ stories.

Jon Wright isn’t your typical farmer. He knows climate change is no joke, and is on a mission to transform his cattle farm into an environmental blueprint for the future. The Rainbow Passage
The Rainbow Passage is an intimate documentary that charts the love story of Candace and Amanda as they embark on their Gender affirmation journey. Along with their bestie, Hannah, they build a life and community of LGBTIQA+ Friends together in regional Australia, before heading to Korea for voice surgery.

In 2020, 10’s channels still don’t work 24 hours a day on the 10Play website. Maybe there are other method to watch them 24/7… Do you think they plan to broadcast the channels 24/7 in the next 10 years? That would be cool.
Both seasons of Puberty Blues has been added to 10 Play to stream.
Which network lost all their master tapes in a fire again? I think it was Nine? Cause I would love to see all those old Aussie shows put on streaming like people have said E-Street, Chances, Pacific Drive, Above The Law, My Two Dads, (obviously not Hey Dad) and the obscure ones I know are out there but forgot.

It’s the latter. One new show will be launched each day.
According to a new promo shown tonight during Gogglebox, the 10 new shows to be streamed on 10 Play includes Drunk History Australia, ITV drama Beecham House (which was axed after one season), and CBS action-adventure drama Blood and Treasure (which has been renewed for a second season).
