I’ve only seen it once or twice on tv yesterday in Brisbane. It’s the longer version of the promo with the new music track.
Thanks @TV.Cynic I missed that text onscreen.
Good to see Alex Cullen back in 2026 for “throughout the day”. Although no mention of his 10 minute news update at 1pm - so far.
Still no word for any change in the daytime schedule for this year? So looks like that the “Winning Arvo” is here to stay for the coming months. 1pm: Assuming the 10 minute News Update returns, with a game show at 1.10pm, Bridge of Lies at 2pm, and The Chase UK at 3pm.
The Winning Arvo schedule is back on 19 January
12:00 PM Seven’s National News At Noon
01:00 PM Seven News With Alex Cullen
01:10 PM Blankety Blank Rpt
02:00 PM Bridge Of Lies S03 E05
03:00 PM The Chase
thats a suprise. I honestly thought it would go on a Christmas break and just not return
It must be into repeat eps of Blankety Blank by now - there are only about 40 episodes of the Walsh version
They already run into repeats at the start of the Ashes.
As shown in the schedule. It returns at S01 E04.
Just hope that they show other programs at 1.10pm throughout the year. Or you will see the same episodes of Blankety Blank half a dozen times (or more) within a space of 12 months.
Seven’s Winning arvo returns Monday 2 February
Catch Phrase on Thursday but a repeat and then a movie on Friday.

01:00 PM Movie: One Of A Kind Love
Welcome back Winning Arvo - one of the “forum favourites”. lol.
Was a Friday Movie always part of Winning Arvo, or is this new? I know that movies aired from mid-November onwards when it was the “off-season”.
I don’t mind having Bridge of Lies air Monday to Wednesday (regular season) and the Celebrity Edition on Thursdays (movie on Fri). To spread it out. Before repeats kick in a few months time.
We’ve seen a few repeat airings already for Blankety Blank. Would have preferred to see more eps of Catch Phrase, instead of just its Thursday offerings.
No, they just run out of ideas this time.
Yeah that is interesting. Didn’t they move the game thing to Fridays only at the end of the last year? So that is gone entirely now?
It’s up there with News+ that’s for sure
Thought is was time to have a look at ratings results for afternoons again.
Though numbers do vary everyday - e.e.g Monday saw the Noon News top 200,000

BATB still going ok but Lingo is no replacement for Neighbours. 12pm hour is a big problem.
This still a thing?
Just without WA identity on-air. The block of game shows still intact.
Hard for Seven to compete between 12 and 3pm, with Married at First Sight repeats and the Winter Olympics Highlights dominating the timeslots.
The “winning arvo” brand may be off our screens (I believe), but good to have this topic still in tact to compare ratings, and see work works throughout the year.
10’s 12pm hour. One word: ouch!
Ex-PRIME areas still getting a weather montage rather than a News Update during the 1PM bulletin…
