Viewers can be fickle. Wednesday - down to 166,000 one of the lowest results!
But Seven confirmed its new UK quiz shows will continue at 1pm and 2pm, respectively.
“We don’t win the 5:00 o’clock spot, but we do win (with Blankety Blank, Bridge of Lies ), and that’s all part of the ecosystem,” he added.
But there’s not enough Blankety Blanks nor BoL to go through all of next year.
That’s why the EPG will start showing that dreaded “Rpt” suffix more often.
The alternative route they didn’t take is to just repeat previous night.
Very odd re Blankety Blank’s return. Especially when they clearly don’t have enough new content.
what does this even mean? God they talk a lot of crap
I think they run out as soon as late next week or the week after
There are 41 Walsh-presented Blankety Blanks (36 in 4 seasons plus 5 christmas specials), and they’ve shown about 29 of them so far. Assuming no pre-emptions from now on other than the racing tomorrow, they should run out around the week starting on the 24th.
Ashes start on the 21st Nov
In comparison, there are 126 episodes of Bridge of Lies (100 regular episodes and 26 celebrity episodes).
The final new episode of Blankety Blank airs 17 Nov. It’s back to replays from the beginning on Tuesday 18 Nov.
Should re-badge it to
Winning Repeats or do a 10 & call it Winning Encores ![]()

I’d say call it Lucky Seven but that names already registered ![]()
Is it just my TV, or are these new Blankety Blanks mastered oddly, like they’ve been standards converted or something?
Winning Arvo had a winning arvo yesterday with some of its best results so worth a data drop. Golden Bach 80,000 behind at noon.

Given The Chase UK numbers are higher @ 3pm than the current 1 & 2PM offering, would it make sense to trial it @ 1pm….assuming they also have lots of episodes rather than the repeat mode that BB and Bridge of Lies will shortly go into
Nobody actually tunes in for this though, do they? They were just watching the Noon news or there for the game shows.
