Who did it include?
In memoriam
Of course it was fucking Penrith…
Sports Sunday is back for another year, with Roz Kelly back in the hosting chair. Panellists for todays show are Mark Taylor, Casey Dellacqua and Gus Worland
They really need a new front on that desk. Looks shocking.
Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez this week on Sports Sunday
Settle in for a huge edition of Sports Sunday this week with the world’s best Formula One team, Red Bull Racing, their reigning world champion Max Verstappen and his teammate Sergio Perez all joining the show, from 10.00am AEST on Channel 9 and 9Now.
The championship-winning duo will talk about their time in Australia ahead of this weekend’s Melbourne Grand Prix, including their pursuit of greatness, before being quizzed on who knows who better.
As the new era of Australian rugby begins, Wallabies coach Eddie Jones selects his squad for the first time since his return to the head coaching role, revealing his selection LIVE on the show. Jones will also discuss his take on the new signing of NRL Roosters star Joseph Sua’ali’i.
Olympic gold medallist Ariane Titmus joins us to reveal how close she is to regaining her 400m freestyle world record after Canadian teen sensation Summer McIntosh smashed it earlier this week.
Queensland Origin coach Billy Slater dives into Round 5 of the NRL, and Geelong Cats legend Jimmy Bartel will have all the latest from the world of AFL.
With the 2023 Masters only a week away, the panel will cross live to 21-year old Aussie amateur Harrison Crowe in Augusta to see who is in hot contention for the coveted green jacket.
On the panel, host Roz Kelly is joined by former Australian cricket captain Mark Taylor, Olympic gold medallist Bronte Campbell, and sports broadcaster and founder of Gotcha4Life, Gus Worland.

James Bracey has returned to the hosting role today.
He’ll have a big day today, if he’ll still be hosting the Sunday Footy Show, the NRL/NRL-W and doing the sports on Nine News.
Danika Mason hosts the Sunday Footy Show and the Sunday NRL normally, and Emma Lawrence was hosting the NRLW coverage during the day yesterday.
Oh yes, thanks for that info. I had a mind blank regarding Danika Mason on the Footy Show. I wasn’t certain though with the NRLW coverage. Good to read that Emma Lawrence is hosting that.
Temporarily?
I know the set gets its fair amount of criticism on here but it looks good on Sports Sunday I believe, some caps from last weekends Sports Sunday.
Just need to get a screen on that desk that goes all the way and isn’t panels with painfully obvious lines.
They need to just chuck that one out and start again, it is really showing its age now.
And jeez it looks really bad like this:
Today’s show is coming from the grounds of Sydney Olympic Park, near Stadium Australia, the venue of tonight’s NRL Grand Final.
And for a first (in a long time?), it is airing at 10am across the country. The Footy Shows airing at 11am.
Putting this on instead of the Sunday Footy Show in Melbourne is ridiculous. Nobody here cares about the Rugby

I agree. Odd decision to air this at 10am in the AFL Cities. Fans of AFL want to see the Grand Final wrap on the Footy Show, not a NRL ad on Sports Sunday! lol.
Roz Kelly has mentioned three times already for the AFL cities that The Footy Show will air straight after the show. Already getting a backlash?
