For the first time since 1999, Channel 4 in the UK have introduced a watermark to its main channel. The HD version already has a watermark, however since they had introduced their branding without the logo on-screen presentation in 2015, there seems to be a move to get the logo back on-screen.
Sorry if it’s slightly off topic, but just giving some context.

Seven’s watermark is dark purple tonight for The Kick and the AFL match between St Kilda and Richmond. Tonight is the annual Maddie’s Match to raise funds for Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision (Maddie was Nick Riewoldt’s sister and purple was her favourite colour).

They were using this same purple 7 watermark even in places where the match showed on 7mate rather than the normal 7mate watermark
Survivor PRG is back, slightly modified. Would a certain regional TV operator enjoy seeing the TEN logo going up in flames? but then be disappointed when it recovers once they are extinguished

Why did Ten keep the 2016 version of the bug and watermark long after it was pulled from use everywhere else in favour of the 2013 version? Even WIN went with the 2013 logo.
The 2016 version was only for Ten HD. 2013 version is everywhere else, except on the watermark, because I presume Ten found it easier to have the SD feed be a direct downconvert of the HD stream so the PRG and on-screen graphics are uniform.
Ten Playout would then split the stream into two, one for downconversion to SD and the other to go out with the HD bug.

I understand that this is what all networks do, so why not replace the bug and watermark on the HD feed with the 2013 logo? Then the remnants of the 2016 logo are gone completely.
Ten’s logos are fine like they are now; enjoy them before Bruce gets control & you suffer wtih huge solid mappy shitstains!
