I find Nine the worst offender with their promotional watermarks the most intrusive while Ten’s tend to be more balanced and subtle. Ten also only generally show theirs up until the end of MasterChef each night - so for example last week there was none during Bull, HYBPA, Shark Tank, or Offspring and none at all on Thursday and Saturday nights.

Last night, the highest rating for a market, was the AFL in Melbourne (which wasn’t massive).
Surely this “exclusively live” watermark on Fox Sports is not right? Nine (via 9now) covering the same match.
Strangely, the other match going on right now not covered by 9now doesn’t have exclusively live.
Looks like they fixed it, the AUSvsNZ match just has live same with the PAKvsIND game.
Gee that Block one is obnoxious. Nine really should use at least some transparency on these promo bugs.
It should be noted (if nobody noticed), the “Live & Free” / “Sport” component of Seven’s sport watermark, is being controlled from their production at Wimbledon.
As quite often, they’ll show a match delayed.
Why does that mean it comes from Wimbledon? Could they not be just paying attention at BCM (in Melbourne) to if the game is live or not?

Channel 4 in the UK has just introduced a DOG on SD, the first time since 1999.
Channel 4 HD though has had a DOG since it launched in 2007.
