And do what, go live on a beach in Bermuda?
Oh wait, he already lives in Bermuda.

A couple of historic watermarks featured on a news story today. I’ve cropped them

Ten is currently running an In-Program Promotional “Watermark” for Finals Week on MasterChef Australia in rotation with the “very lovely” (no…it’s actually even worse) one for Australia Survivor which was posted earlier in this thread:

Trivia: the scoreboard for NSL on C7 (first screencap) was later adapted as the scoreboard for telecast of international hockey tournaments like Champions Trophy for more than a decade. It was finally replaced in around 2015.

Sadly nothing new. It’s been like that in WA for almost a year now. Comes on during commercials, goes away during programming. Every day. Almost a year. :disappointed:

I don’t really like any In-Program Promotional Watermarks, but it’s not that bad compared to some of the solid full coloured eyesores from Nine and Ten we’ve had to put up with lately! :open_mouth:

Ratings wise, it probably goes without saying that Seven would be hoping that the coverage of the 2017 Rugby League World Cup boosts their ratings - especially in the rugby league mad markets of Sydney and Brisbane.

The RLWC watermark is not pointless, it is a timely remainder. Slightly off topic, Kangaroos coach Mal Meninga visited Melbourne today to mark the occasion and to launch the tournament’s volunteer uniform.
