10 has only ever given a clean feed of 10, not Bold or Peach.
Correct. The coverup was in the wrong spot.

Late April is when I first noticed it, commented about it with caps during the Academy Awards
Except that NBNs Web address is now 9nbn.com.au
Thanks for clarifying the web address. That would still sit nicely under the 9 logo.
That was only used for a local show that was screened on 9Go. Not permanent.
Just looking at sports offering s this afternoon on FTA - so much unnecessary clutter in these sports watermarks.
The wwos one always confuses me, as the logo itself represents Wide World of Sports doesn’t it? They don’t use it during the Aus Open itself though (think that’s added at a production level), should used that one, it’s just the logo, much better.
They don’t use it for AFL shows (eg Sunday Footy Show), but they do for NRL shows (eg Sunday Footy Show). They just use the normal 9 watermark.
Old mappy looks a little lonely without any pop up promo jutting out from the west coast.
Meanwhile, over on Southern Cross Nine, an extended promo for Beauty and the Geek just aired. WIN must be mighty grateful for the free advertising SC is providing for upcoming Nine programming.
Given SCA are running dirty feeds from Nine it’s not surprising some of Nine’s future promos are being seen.
If I were SCA, I’d get playout to start putting in 10 promos from tomorrow, for programmes which are from Thursday next week, and ending up with all 10 promos next Wednesday night.
It would look very weird to see Nine programmes with the Nine watermark go to a 10 promo, especially to normal people, but this change and lead-up is unusual.
Of course it’s very unlikely to happen, as it appears SC9 have just replaced commercials leaving all the promos; some news promos were swapped out back when 9News regional was a thing.
Fox Footy venue watermark found in pubs and clubs. Looks like a beer glass melted into the Fox logo.
Any idea why Fox Sports are now doing a special venue feed? I’ve also seen this for Fox League.
It’s an anti-piracy thing. It’s a slightly different feed to the residential feed. It’s done the world over.
In the UK, inspectors will come to the pub and check to see if they are using a residential feed or they are paying for the pub feed. They use the beer glass to check.
I think the beer glass “watermark” for Fox Footy/League is only a fairly recent thing?
Correct. I haven’t seen it before. I’ve only seen it on Optus Sport here in Australia.
May not stop cheeky pubs from painting a beer glass onto their screens to make it look legit
