I also think that viewers in this case know they are watching sport
True!
And they ALL like to use a “NEWS” bug on bulletins when we ALL know it’s news.
I would like to see some truth in TV here…
How about a “CRAP” watermark when we all know they are showing complete and utter crap.
That can now mean we can get them for false advertising if they’re not funny then! It’s hard to prove that it’s not news or not sport but if they say it’s funny and it’s not, let’s get them!
I’ve heard that the problems with it are being looked into…
Apologies if it’s already been posted, but how often is this greyscale (and SD, to my eyes at least anyway) WWOS watermark used? Just used on The Sunday NRL Footy Show?
I’ve only ever seen it for the preceding program WWOS. Perhaps the grey watermark is for sports panel programming (Footy Classified?)
Pretty sure Footy Classified uses the normal Nine watermark
That looks like a bit of rude food.
Watermark on WIN is coloured:

WIN HD watermark not changed:

Has been noted in the past. There was an explanation re the colour here:
Nine had a solid The Voice blind auditions watermark during You’re Back in the Room tonight.
For some reason Seven has dropped the Olympic rings from its watermark today.
Although 7TWO and 7mate still have the rings, oddly enough. Glitch, perhaps?
Good.
