the news about Neighbours only came out on Thursday night, the magazine would have likely already gone to print by then or, at least, be too late to change.
Maybe next week?
Perhaps Neighbours returning could be something they can run during the summer non-ratings period whrn there is barely any new Australian product on our screens. They could put the Neighbours Big 4 on the cover: Paul Robinson, Karl & Susan Kennedy and Toadie.
I actually like this weeks cover.
Neighbours gets a small part of the front cover this week, that is otherwise dominated by H and A. The Poject also gets a mention.
Strange that next week’s cover is for the finale which is tonight.
When it comes to H&A why would anything like this be considered strange? How many H&A covers are we going to get while the show is actually off-screen over summer?
Yeah. Their track record is a shocker.
well there will be the customary H&A Christmas special issue
Plus the customary H&A Preview special issue…
Pathetic TV Week.
The people at TV Week must get their jollies from Home and Away.
I always assumed Seven paid for the space / promotional consideration.
if there’s any paid-for content it should be marked as such or be clear that it is an advertisement.
My guess is that their sales data/research shows that Home and Away shifts the needle more than any other show and Seven accomodate that by offering up more interviews and content.
Great to see The Wiggles on the cover.
That’s actually a pretty good cover of The Wiggles. Amd there is 4 pages devoted to them - with a big interview and plenty of photos of the group. If only TV Week made this effort more frequently…
As for the “TV Week turns 65” section, there is a 5 page special devoted to this. Its a simple section. But glad its still included.
