TV Week

Got a bit of spare time on your hands eh JBar? Even prior to the lockdown.

Probably because there’s a lot less worth watching on television these days. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

So many high calibre actors in Informer 3838 but TV Week go for a supporting actor so they can use Stephen Peacocke for the millionth time on the cover.

Stephen Peacocke reveals the truth behind his move to LA.

does anyone care if he did? It was years ago now, anyway. Gosh they’re desperate to get any headline about him.

When will TV Week learn/? None of us can stand why they continue to obsess with him. If they need to have that Home and Away connection, why not sure someone like Georgie Parker once in a while? You know, some one who has actually won the Gold Logie and multiple Acting Logies.

Oh FFS TV Week.

He is so over exposed.

I would say over rated.

He’s an ok actor but certainly not worth the constant attention from TV Week

There are so many other actors and TV shows which are more popular and have higher ratings. They don’t even seem to pay attention to those who are continually nominated for Most Popular Logie Awards or the shows with higher ratings.

Celia Pacquola was one of those, for example, but there are so many others too. I think they spend way too much time listening to a vocal minority on Facebook.

This week’s issue-

Hhhhh.

Good to see Lisa McCune on the cover for How To Stay Married. Although a shame Pete Helliar has never been included in any TV Week cover for any show he has been in.

Good to hear that Lisa McCune has returned to the cover of TV Week - and for How to Stay Married? Nice. When was the last time she was on the cover? Was it for her role in Sea Patrol in l the late 2000’s?

I agree. It would have been nice to see Peter Helliar on the cover at some stage over his career. For his “side-kick roles” for Rove and The Project, or his roles on Its a Date and or How to Stay Married.

I just wish they’d be more creative with their headlines. So many headlines start with ‘Why I had to…’. Seems to be a standard go-to banner for a lot of the trashy womens magazines too.

Looks like TV Week editor Thomas Woodgate is on the way out.

Wow , thats interesting. I didnt think that the editor, Thomas Woodgate, go. Does this come immediately?

Will the magazine just get a new “acting editor” in tbe interim?
