It would’ve been fantastic to have that Susan & Finn photo as the cover! But alas, TV Week can’t go a week without H&A being on the cover. 
At the end of the latest issue, it says that they’ll be having an interview with Grant Dener. And Denyer shares who is on top of his list for the Gold Logie in 2020. Interesting, considering the Loiges changes. Of course, he’ll hype up Amanda Kellar, and talk about Tom Gleeson’s win. The same old stories from him. lol

I know that this is out of anyone’s control, but please note that the TV Guides will be a little inaccurate in this new issue - with the AFL now suspended, and I assume more “News” slotted into the guides.

with Home and Away off-air for a few weeks, will this take TV Week’s focus away from the show on its covers…
No, of course it won’t, I bet 
You would hope so but I wouldn’t put it past them doing some flashback and compilation covers, which would be awful. 
With news in the forefront right now, they could do some stories on some of those personalities. But also, there are still other shows on the air that could get a run on the covers. Hughesy, Neighbours, Mad As Hell, Hard Quiz, The Chase, The Heights, Stateless, Bondi Rescue etc. Coming soon Mystery Road etc.

I hope they’ll have other covers on for the next few weeks while Home and Away isn’t on. But we know that wont happen.
Masterchef starts in a few weeks. I wonder if the new hosts or any of the former contestants will make the cover?
But I can see something like Alf appearing on the cover to talk about him possibly leaving the show for the 29th time due to his age (and can talk about the pandemic…)

I was joking about the compilation cover with lots of small pictures, but it seems that’s what they’ve gone with in week 1 of the crisis.

The 50 must be Fake News!
I didn’t even bother checking because it’s such a rubbish concept for a cover story. I wonder if this was originally planned as one of those monthly editions of TV Week Close Up.
Maybe they decided to switch it to regular TV Week because they’re really struggling for content when they can’t run their Home & Away stories. Also, they’re not likely to sell many Close Up issues since people aren’t out in the shops as much.

Celia Pacquola on the cover this week. 
I had suggested her to them for the cover, a few times. She had to win Dancing with the Stars to prove to them she was a popular personality. 
ETA: They actually used the photo I sent to them in my TV Week mock cover back in February. 
They tweaked it a bit by changing the background and colour of her dress, but it’s the same photo. Looks like somebody at TV Week is actually listening.
