It should have been The Masked Singer which is arguably the hottest show right now. Not a show that started nearly 18 years ago.
I agree. The Masked Singer should have been on the cover. Either the judges, or the “masked singers” in the costumes. Something, rather than McLeod’s Daughters, a show that ended years ago, and is doing a “reunion show”. Heck, the feature is on page 92 in this issue… Work that out.
Or at least have Osher on the cover to talk about The Masked Singer and The Bachelor
TV Week can breathe a sigh of relief… Stephen Peacocke is back… no doubt more covers bearing his image to come…
and with no doubt, they will talk about his time on Home and Away and a “possible return”; with little mention of the new show he will be in.
It’s always a “shock” on the cover of TV Week.
Just ridiculous that they don’t promote any other worthy actors or shows on the cover. They had a good interview with Deborah Mailman last week for Total Control, where they mentioned she has won 5 Logie Awards. Some of those have been for Most Popular actress so she must be popular with viewers. Why don’t they put her on the cover of TV Week?
I would have thought a cover featuring Deborah Mailman and Rachel Griffiths would be a popular choice. Rachel also being a worthy contender for her success with Total Control, Ride Like A Girl and work overseas.
TV Week rewriting history again, or just plain inept
No, A Country Practice did not get to a 7000th episode in 1989. It was probably more like 700th but hey, who needs attention to detail…
Probably a typo, and a bad one at that.
Also never forget that they continue to believe Mrs. Mangel’s retirement/“goodbye” episode is a “death” one.
Auction day drama - it hasn’t even happened yet!
This doesn’t make sense. The show’s been sponsored since day one, 2003.
TV Week covers of late: DRAMA. SHOCK EXIT. SCANDAL. and repeat.
TV Week covers of late: Home and Away; Home and Away; The Block. and repeat.
3 times The Block has been on the cover? I think. 1 cover into the Finals Week, i am okay with. The other 2 covers, not so much! lol.
At least The Block is a relevant show to have on the cover. They have missed opportunities to have The Masked Singer, Total Control and Playing For Keeps in recent weeks. They need to have shows which their readers are interested in.
Also disappointing that The Project hosts don’t get featured considering they and the show keep getting nominated for Logies and they win them.
Agree that they have missed opportunities. The Masked Singer was a popular Reality Show, and Osher was hosting both The Masked Singer and The Bachelorette. You’d think he’d appear on the cover. And as for Total Control? should be on the cover too. Deborah Mailman has won many Logies (both peer and public awards). Clearly, she is popular enough. Why not have her on the cover?
The Project is popular too with winning various Logies, from winning the Public Affairs Program, to Walleed winning Presenter and the Gold in the past, with Carrie winning the Gold too (all being nominated carious times over the years too). Am also disappointed that none of the hosts are featured on the cover either.
Well, there is some good news in this latest issue of TV Week: SBS World Movies and NITV are both FINALLY added into the guides.
ABC ME and ABC News are merged in the one panel.
SBS World Movies and NITV are in the other panel.
These four channels listings shows the programs in primetime
Another misleading headline which makes you think that he’s quitting his show…but he’s not.
Then what is he doing then?
