Yep, that’s the one! But this one was what I remembered:
I wish that Clive Palmer’s United Australia Party ads were banned for being absolutely awful. Australia is certainly copping it from you, Clive.
It’s clearly working because people can’t stop talking about how much they hate his ads or unsolicited text messages.
do you remember the NRMA radio ads from the 1990s featuring Wallace Fairweather crapping on and on about NRMA car insurance? We copped those ads in Victoria. Thankfully the RACV bought out NRMA’s Victorian insurance business and these ads were stopped.
GEICO have such great ads…
Their current ad about their ads may not be in their best 10, but still…
Great idea.
This has got to be one of the Greatest ads in a long time! Instant classic, from what I gather it’s been around for about 3 months but has only been recently playing in regional areas. Though people seem to be complaining at the lack of manners in the video
I got my latest mattress at OMF. It’s great and I didn’t pay anywhere near the price you would pay at Harvey Norman and Makin Mattresses. I really dislike the Makin Mattresses in-store hard sell and their silly commercials.
A thank you without a glare greasier than the chips wouldn’t hurt.
We’ve had it in Tas for at least three months, it’s funny because whenever it’s on both my kids stop whatever they’re doing to watch it.
Haha I do as well as a grown man!
Does it change, the more you watch it?
Just saw DVD Infinity’s new commercial…
The ad they used to air started in either 2001 or 2003? according to them, but now they state it started in 2010… I’m sure if anyone remembers this being in 4:3 and still airing…
Looking forward to tomorrow… football + great TVCs… can’t wait. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRfsJi_0HHA
7Mate Canberra have been airing an ad for Special Children’s Christmas Party 2018 sponsors (it’s been a month…) followed by a People’ Choice Credit Union ad in every single ad break
Having worked with those campaigns before, each company is guaranteed a certain number of mentions. Some pay for more then others (You might see a big company up top who have a big budget compared to a mum and pop mortar shop). They’re usually given filler/bonus/run of station spots as well (ad-breaks where the full allotment hasn’t been sold).
As for the Christmas Party being last month, it doesn’t matter given it’s not actually promoting the event.
More specially, these ads.
And yet…
Rise in Aussie kids picking up US slang, pronunciations from games and streaming services
Strewth, not only have traditional Aussie slang terms been usurped by Americanisms, but the tin lids are actually sounding more like septics every day.
Remember this , kinda catchy
