Oh yeah that one! I’m not sure considering i haven’t really seen it that much and i didn’t look to much into it but if it is AI it’s pretty good. It looks like someone actually physically made it IMO.
Either way, unfortunately we will get to a point where AI is used more then currently on TV and it will be totally unrecognisable.
But he’s floating in a pool. That’s probably why his head is wobbling. It looks like guy in a lion costume to me. His mane holding the phone is probably CGI rather than AI.
Which is spelt as “Woollongong” on the address for their ad…
Judging by what the St George Illawarra “Dargons” do on "Staurday"s, it’s bog standard for the area.

Couldn’t find it anywhere in the ad from my captures. It was a 15 second ad. Did they have a longer one or something?

I reckon it would have been on 7 during the Saturday Horse Races a few weeks back, but i vaguely remember seeing it during WIN News.
Someone else in the comments of that post also noticed which is nice.

You’re Telstra. You’re the monolithic overlord, you can just put your logo up and say “We’re Telstra. You want reliable? You have us. We’re not the other guys”.
