Triple M Network

Does he have a wife/girlfriend/significant partner?

what relevance is that?

Most of the couples of radio programming are well known, he keeps a lower profile. General trivia, nothing sinister.

Tony Martin was the booth announcer at tonight’s Logies.

I’m sure that’ll set the die hard Martin fans off decrying the decision to end his comedy show on MMM, Get This.

You think his fans are holding a grudge after 12 years? You’re dreaming.

Brigitte Duclos, Mark Howard and Digby Gillings are on ‘Winter Breakfast’ in Melbourne, while the Hot Breakfast are on a break.

Lehmo was on this morning, so it was like a reunion of sacked Gold 104.3 breakfast hosts.

Nice one getting Brig back on the M’s too.

She was a waste on Talking Lifestyle & MSR.

…not reading the radio today comments, there’s always at least five on there every time he gets a mention.

Get Grubby and Dee Dee whilst they’re at it?

Sounds like Digby has already been cut from the show title today. If he’s panelling today then he’s remaining silent.

How long has the television commercial for Triple M Sydney for their “Moonman in the Morning” breakfast show with all the cast appearing to sing (or mime) the jingle in a studio been running?

Personally saw it for the first time during Nine News tonight.

First time tonight I’ve seen it. They also ran the 2Day FM breakfast show promo with Denyer and his kid during that hour. It struck me as strange that they’re running these when the shows are on their mid winter breaks.

Good to see Triple M getting some prime time TV advertising.

SCA seem to spend most of their advertising budget on 2DAY (and I daresay Fox/Hit stations in other cities are in a similar situation).

Was that 500 and a half countdown on all Metro Triple M stations? Of course an AC/DC track was number 1 with “Its a Long Way to the Top if you Want to Rock and Roll “ There was plenty of U2 tracks ,Cold Chisel ,Midnight Oil and INXS

Same again tonight, both 2DAY and Triple M ads during Nine News.

Having seen the Triple M one for the first time, it’s an okay ad.

Though seeing Mooney lip sync the “Triple M” whisper (which is a female voice) seemed a bit weird.

I thought both ads were rather cheap and uncreative. Certainly not on par with the quality of the advertising for these stations we’ve seen in the past. I expect more from a company that proclaims themselves to be “Australia’s biggest entertainment company”.

Triple M’s presence at Origin. Pathetic.

Yeah, it was on in Melbourne. The U2 track at #2 was surprising, many far better tunes than that I think.

Did the same survey. I’m the opposite, hated nearly all these tracks! They are obviously seeing if there is market for heavy metal.

I don’t think there is one, if I were Triple M I’d be inclined to go the other way and nclude songs that are just a bit softer eg. Nik Kershaw, Johnny Hates Jazz, Cutting Crew are 80s examples of songs that have just enough of a rock feel to them.
