He’s part of the fabric at Triple M and while he’s probably one of the oldest people working at Clarendon St, he’s not that old yet.

Lee is a great asset. AFL is over for the year, he can’t do AFL planning every day, good he is on air again, he most likely enjoys it.

Not really surprising since he’s been with Triple M for a few years and such a move would still allow him to call AFL games regularly without travelling each weekend for six months a year (the reason why he stepped down from Seven).
Great move - step in to retirement gradually and get to do it without having to leave home. Given there’s a game a week in Perth it works just nicely
It also keeps the greatest football commentator alive on the airwaves, so I for one approve

It will also mean they won’t have to ship someone else across from Melbourne or Adelaide for the nationally broadcast games either.

Triple M broadcasting the 3 Pakistan test matches. Kerry O’keefe returning with James Brayshaw expected to head up the coverage (was excited until i heard of Brayshaws involvement). Brad McNamara has signed with Triple M to oversee their coverage.

Roy & HG will become a regular part of Triple M when they make a permanent return to the network in the new year. They will present a national program titled The Sporting Probe with Roy & HG, which will be aired on Saturday mornings from 10am-12pm in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane & Adelaide, with the regional Triple M stations airing it at 7-9am Sunday mornings.
