The Sunday Telegraph reports that Emma Freedman (co-host of Hit 30 on the Hit Network) will join Triple M Sydney’s The Grill Team as a permanent member after making contributions to the show in the last few months.

Probably a good move, would reduce the “bogan” feel of the station a bit.
So 4 hosts? or 5 if you include Pagey, remember last time SCA had 4 people on breakfast. And a few years ago they had Rachel Corbett chiming in and out on the show and then there was a few too many people as well. 3 works pretty well but 4?
The weekend NRL shows have featured music? Anyone know why?

Triple M in Adelaide is now only referred to as Triple M and not Classic Triple M, they dropped the Classic a few months ago I think.
And we gotta keep the only New Rock station on the air before it’s too Late.

Come on People, I rang Triple M Sydney to tell them to keep Modern Rock Digital on air. Show Them your Support.
This probably goes without saying, but I reckon that Triple M Sydney would probably rate better if they widened their target demographic a bit (all the marketing and promotion I see for the station gives me the impression that it’s only really a station for male bogans), broadened their playlist and cut back on all the football talk.
Because of those three factors, you can probably understand why WSFM generally rates better than Triple M in the Sydney radio ratings. Of course I can’t see anything changing with Triple M 104.9 anytime soon, but one can dream!
Agree. Triple M Sydney pretty much has no opposition.
ARN have left a gap with WS sounding more pop.
Isn’t it Classic Rock on Digital? It’s so long since I’ve heard that I’m out of date.
I believe that Classic Rock is still on digital (until it stops on October 1), but the Triple M branding was dropped from the station some time ago.

In some markets they get Modern Rock Digital, not Classic Rock Digital.
