Triple M Network

Seems like The Rush Hour is going to 4 days a week during the footy season with an expanded Friday Huddle taking its place on that day.

Triple M’s Friday Huddle is making moves.
The show will still be the lead in to Friday night footy, featuring Mark Howard, Nathan Brown, Damian Barrett and Jason Dunstall, but it will only be heard from 4-7pm before the footy commentary team comes on, led by Brian Taylor and Jack Heverin.

That’s the third shortest tenure on a Triple M show, behind Marty 4-7pm and Lathamland.

Was the breakfast team that bad?

I did wonder with Belling’s Seven news commitments how long before things changed

She was part of last year’s team as well

I forgot she is doing TV news too. Would have been a crazy schedule getting up at 4am to do breakfast radio and then going over to do midday news too.

She was too good for that new show. A trusted news voice back doing news on The Briefing. Makes sense.

Troy Ellis on drive this afternoon on his lonesome on 2MMM. Advertising Mick Molloy as a guest on tomorrow’s breakfast show. You have to be a bit hard up when the former host is put up as the main guest.

so how long do we give the brekky show now?

Tarsh is such a class act.

My guess is she wanted to give the workload a couple of months before making a decision and weighing up the options.

Does anyone else think Tash’s departure was a result of distancing herself from the Triple M brand post-Marty?

No

No. Best bet is she accepted Triple M because it was a full-time opportunity, then 7 came up and she’d rather the daytime news shift than breakfast radio, and has worked with SCA to find a way to stay in the stable.

Obviously, doing both Breakfast Radio and Daytime TV roles continuously was too much for Natarsha Belling.

Good luck to Beau Ryan and Aaron Woods. Not as “polished” as other presenters, but are light-hearted. I wonder if Sydney-siders have been listening to them.

I love the spin on her being at a new show for only 6wks.

What about all her time on 2MMM breakfast last year?

More of a dramatic headline than anything else.

Or that the journos didn’t do their homework or listen to the show last year. lol.
