No, I’ve heard year 8 boys from the bottom English class. They have some intelligence, and an ability to be reasoned with. Marty’s too far gone.
Marty oughta know better, after his recent issues with Triple M. SCA are ion the cutting mood, he could be next.

I wonder if Marty will show up today?
Lots of people in the industry are turning on Marty on their social media, Jacqui Felgate, Mel McLaughlin etc.
Although Leisel Jones’ reaction on her MMM show was over the top and I hope that show gets a rap on the knuckles for adding to the negative publicity the station is receiving.
Marty should probably have a day or two away from work until this blows over.

Well, Marty’s about to air in AEDT states - let’s see what he has to say on the matter. I’d assume given the scope of the national outcry, he’d apologise during the national hour.

Over the top, from your point of view. What she said and the emotion that she had sounds very genuine. I don’t think she’s playing it up for a break.
Do you really think she should have not shared her real opinion on it, in the same way Marty shares his real opinion on news? This backlash would have still existed regardless.

I’m purely speaking from a business sense. I think it’s inappropriate to publicly speak out against colleagues and further undermine the reputation of your employer - regardless of whether it was cleared by management or not.

From a business sense, you want employees who live by the values of the company they work for, and if that means calling out an employee who does not, then so be it. It makes it more impressive that it comes from someone who is probably not as bigger ‘star’. Well done Leisel

So why has the entire Triple M Network published the apology when not every Triple M takes Marty’s full show?
Did it air in national airtime? Or only to some markets?
I reckon listeners of Triple M will probably be glad he’s gone after this, and I reckon when he returns listeners of the station will turn off in droves. And as I said before, advertisers will turn him off. Consider this the end of The Marty Sheargold Show. The damage is done.
