Triple M Network

I get you but it is a media discussion forum. I remember a time where this forum was big on rumour discussions. If these people you speak of know what’s spoken about here, rumour or truth, then maybe they should just stop reading it if it concerns them?

You’re not a winner for breaking the news of someone’s sacking or redundancy. Let them have that honour

Got it mate, move on

The problem is though it spills out of this forum. It isn’t as simple as “don’t read this forum”, word spreads and suddenly unfounded rumours quickly become pseudo-truth.

Calling out a mistake and really underlining how damaging that mistake can be shouldn’t be controversial either @AlanCramer. Somethings can’t just be “ooop that’s showbiz oh well” move on. No. Distress is caused. It is wrong and ultimately unnecessarily so. Reflect.

OK, the point’s been made, I think we can let this go, now.

Thats cuel and evil for SCA to do

Its a shame in general they dont leave an archive of old shows in general.

Why not be able to listen to an old Hot Breakfast for instance.

Hamish an Andy have it right by having thier whole show run available for a small fee.

I think a bit of perspective is required.

As someone who has been made redundant I personally would prefer the heads up from anyone before my employer tapped me on the shoulder. That way you’re more prepared for the conversation rather than being blindsided.

In my own experience I was greatly appreciative that I knew it was coming, so I could go into the conversation on the front foot.

So telling people to ‘reflect’ sounds a bit condescending. Everyone is different.

It’s still on Omny. Triple M Night Shift clips - Omny.fm

In case it gets taken down from there soon, I’ve also saved a copy here:

Mediaspy 2025 needs to embrace this wholeheartedly again.

At some point, Dave will be made redundant, the bean counters will have their way with all quality talent unfortunately. It also has brought a lot of mentions with very little effort. The frenzy began by a probably well meaning contribution has boosted Dave’s profile.

Great career, so far. Even greater Sun FM jacket, now that’s one for the museum.

What a great start to SCA’s syndicated shows. Not.
Truly not drive-show material.

Any help with what is said? Many of us don’t have Tik Tik as we aren’t 12.

I assume this is it, if so the continually enraged brigade clearly never listens as he is being sarcastic. He often makes jokes about gay people yet his co-hosts are gay, says pregnant women “go on a bit”. Don’t buy the act as he always says.

Also looking at her account, it’s all for clout and followers as they usually are.

It wasn’t being sarcastic, it’s hateful and degrading

Triple M - Rock, Sport and Misogyny

When Triple M first went to air in Sydney in 1980 its first slogan was “Because Your Ears Have Brains”. To use that positioner today would clearly be false advertising.

Are you serious? Have you ever listened to his show? He never says anything seriously.

In that case he can say anything and get away with it.
