Pretty much exactly what I said about 20 minutes ago when told.

That’s crazy, how can they get rid of a legend of Triple M like that. I’ll miss Dangerous Dave.

Complete disconnection to their audience. Who cares about Luke Bona, that was a waste of resources, but this is insanity.

I’m assuming a lot of behind the scenes staff gone in that 40?

That’s a lot of experienced people sacked from Triple M!

Only last week Dave was interviewed and speaking optimistically about his future in radio. Sorry to see him leaves the Ms.

Damn that’s disappointing. He is a pro.

Very sad on these latest round of cuts.
Dave Williams is the best presenter on the network.
And I’ve enjoyed Luke’s Program for the past 8 years so I find it sad I’ll no longer hear the Night shift.
I also feel for the other people let go it’s a cruel business.

Some of the names I’m hearing is like :open_mouth: and :flushed:

Are there any other significant on air talent going? Obviously lots of off air personnel are leaving.

Unfortunately, having gone through this myself last year, basically nobody in media is untouched by redundancies these days.

A lot regionally are shrinking again apparently. A couple from 2Day

After announcing DSL on 92.5 Triple M Gold, Elliot Lovejoy has been another casualty.

Didn’t think there was much left to shrink regionally after the last cuts.
