Some comments in the Group suggesting the person may have it on Triple M Classic Rock.

Hopefully it is a change of ANY kind for the Eastern Mā€™s.

Mind you, they should really go the other direction - more newer rock. Then again, itā€™s obviously in response to the GOLD104.3 & WSFM recent changes skewing younger.

Rock music seems to have become a more obscure genre for the millenials sadly.

Thatā€™s exactly the reason why MMM doesnā€™t have its modern rock station anymore. Because it just isnā€™t being made.

The closest thing we have to decent ā€˜modernā€™ rock in 2025 (that can get airplay) is stuff like Jack Whiteā€™s new album.

Thatā€™s 100% the wrong direction - if youā€™re programming Magic or 4BH sure go that route - but massive backward step for Melb/Syd. Maybe okay in Brisbane and Adelaide with no FM classic hits to compete, but itā€™s a gift for Gold to shift older elsewhere.

Maybe it will rate better in total people than going in the Perth direction, but canā€™t see it hitting the right demos.
