Triple M Network

In fairness MMM Perth have been going up in most of the recent surveys. I think the format is excellent, easily my most listened to station.

Meanwhile after the recent announcement that Rosie, Wil and Daisy would be on-air until end of the year, the show is now being rested for the next 3 weeks.

It’s getting hard to keep up with Triple M Melb programming decisions.

Must be getting extended into '25, probably with Wil swapped out for Hughesy you’d have to guess.

I’m not completely surprised given they were extended quite late - Daisy had a pre-arranged holiday and Wil has some other commitments.

Surely this experiment without Kate by Hughesy’s side is long over. It’s been proven time and time again he fails in the ratings without her.

Weird to not even have an announcer on a capital city breakfast time slot

Kyle and Jackie O seem to do it whenever they are off - they just have a “best of” show.

@MaddieWalsh will there be a fill in for Rosie, Wil and Daisy?

Not for three weeks in the middle of survey they don’t.

That’s what’s weird, they have announcers on during the day and weekends. All regional M’s have a local announcer but choose to be jock free in the most important time slot

If they didn’t bungle negotiations with Marty I’m sure he’d still be on air.

I’d like to hear more about the bungling if you are able to divulge.

Dangerous Dave did a double shift I think.

Troy Ellis did a shift too I believe

Oh maybe it was Troy and not Dangerous Dave I heard.

They were joking in the Marty Sheargold podcast yesterday that Troy had to be on air soon and the backend of the podcast was cut short.

“I want to thank everyone I have worked with over the past 16 years,” Worland said. “From my early days with Matty Johns, Mark Geyer and Chris Page, to my current team with Jude Bolton and Aaron Woods, I have been fortunate to collaborate with some truly remarkable people. I am also grateful to all the incredible behind-the-scenes staff who have helped keep our shows running smoothly.”

Big Dell and the Sweet Prince dudded here

I wonder if this is part of the national shake up of Triple M Drive? With other Rush Hours also being dismantled?

I’d say we’ll see a merger of the NSW and QLD Rush Hours, with some casualties along the way.
