Triple M Network

Maybe the’ll have floating contributors, similar to what the Hot Breakfast did after Wil Anderson left.

Well that’s a new drive show for the Ms in 2022 then!

Doh! Regarding Jane leaving, but totally understandable especially since after this year, she’ll still have the twins to do their VCEs later on.

They might end up bringing Dave full-time with Mick later on, since he was his co-host when Jane was off in October.

No offence to Dave, but maybe they could put Rosie on with Mick instead of her doing afternoons? She’s worked with him before, she definitely knows her music and she’s very funny.

Which Dave?

Dangerous Dave, who is currently panelling for Molloy.

Triple M Aussie leading into Baz Xav and Jenna would be suited well if Bona was live in Perth. More callers would call in.

Regional is lucky to have him live

As for Jane Kennedy it’s a shock.

Molloy is a funny bloke but 2021 is going to be very interesting.

Sheargold and Molloy would team up very well

I’d definitely be all for that - I guess we’ll get an idea at some point if he’ll just do it by himself for the long haul or have guests to help take some of the load off him.

Mick enjoys the odd day off or two so it will be interesting how they cover his absences seeing as he won’t have an on-air partner. Perhaps they’ll do what they do with Kyle Sandilands and pre-record some of the shows and use them when he calls in sick.

Thank God, that show isn’t remotely funny or interesting. Blow it up & put in something that’s relevant nowadays, not 1989.
Mick with rotating comics.

Could do something like the following
3-4 The Marty Sheargold Show highlights
4-5 Mick Molloy
5-7 The Rush Hour

Any word on who’s hosting 92.9 rush hour?I know Tom Atkinson has the Ep role but no word on the host yet.

Can someone please ban that Moonman from radio. Very unfunny and uninteresting.

Does he still drag out his Malcolm Turnbull impersonation? It’s the only one where he vaguely sounds like the person which is why he did it non-stop when Turnbull was prime minister.

I think so. From September last year:

Doing an impersonation of Malcolm Turnbull might’ve been a relevant (even funny) gag three years ago, but surely now it should be retired in favour of a Scott Morrison impersonation?

Marty Sheargold show 6:00 to 9:00, then National reply 15:00 to 16:00, then a 3rd re run 18:00 to 19:00! till 1st Feb when Rush how starts. Talk about overkill. The website also has Matty O on from 22:00 till 24:00 but sounds like automation no announcer

He does the Malcolm impersonation in a segment called “What a Rich Guy Reckons” in which he comments on society’s down trodden dressed in their active wear from the vantage point of Turnbull’s Point Piper mansion.

I listen to the Moonman podcast sometimes and get a good laugh out of it. The jokes can be a little repetitive but Mooney has developed a few good characters- TV critic Rudy Vanderstone is hilarious as is Greens MP Theresa Green. There are a few segments I find a bit meh, however. Show anchor Chris Page overshadows Mooney on occasion with his brilliant impersonation of Alan Jones.

I listened to the podcast, very upbeat and fast paced, the producers are all in the studio, and Troy Ellis works very well with Marty from the get go. It sounds great. I was worried without another comic to bounce off but the team around him are good.
