Triple M Network

I liked Moonman when he was on 4MMM Brisbane Big Breakfast.I liked his ‘Rich Uncle Mal’ character

Great 2nd ep too. Seamless transition, light years ahead of the mess there last year, helps having a proper comic on. Also great to have less of a blokey show that isn’t just sport, should do better in getting a wider audience.

The socials reaction has been brutal.

Only managed to catch the post-8:30 segments but they’ve been tight. Troy is a bloody good anchor and was wasted at Nova.

Eddie fans? It’s an excellent show, it’ll go well.

Agreed!

There’s a lot of people not liking it on at 3 either. It’s the same in Sydney, a lot of people still want the grill team back. Triple M listeners can be very passionate and a big change in formats will of course cheese a lot if listeners off, always happens.

The best comment I read was something along the lines of ‘it can’t be any worse than Pete and Myf’.

Actually remember Pete & Myf. That show had potential.

Not sure if you’re being sarcastic here or not. For me, when they were announced as the new breakfast show I was looking forward to it, but after a while I had to tune out because they were so bad. It was almost like they arrived for their shift at 5.55am and just went on air with no preparation. Glad they’ve gone on to better things but for me it was a relief when they were axed.

Does anyone know who anchors 4MMM Big Breakfast please?I think his first name is Dave

tuned into the new Molloy Show this afternoon. I’m not throwing mud or anything, but does it seem like Mick is a bit lost without Jane. His focus is all over the place and Dangerous Dave isnt helping.

Is it Dave Ferrier

The Marty Sheargold show is sounding absolutely brilliant! My new favourite Melb breakfast show. They’re onto a winner :clap:t3:

There doesn’t seem to be too many, I don’t mind it personally but it’s a big change

The show has the perfect amount of news and comedy, and is executed really well.

I also like that there’s no talking over each other, unlike all the other headache-inducing shows.

I think I need to have an extended listen for a proper opinion, but listening to 3 over the top background laughs to a very mediocre joke put me off

Troy could calm it with the laughs but I like the vibe, they do these shows well overseas, nice to see them do it with Christian and now Marty.
