Again it’s song choice. She had some songs that would work like Confide In Me.
And DID IT AGAIN is a good choice for the station its arguably Kylie’s most rock or indie ssong… From the album Impossible Princess, alongside Some Kind of Bliss written by Manic Street Preachers
Would you rather Kylie Minogue on a Rock Station or Kylie Minogue on a Rocket?
Image: Love Kylie collection.
Yay, more so in that it surely spells the end of those awful “Rock Song Dedications” voiceovers.
Is Danny Lakey a Triple M personality though?
I personally like him and find him pretty funny but he appeals to a more younger audience in my opinion. Interesting times nonetheless.
Night shows traditionally skew younger, so he should fit in well
He’s more Triple M (with 90s and new rock) than Roxette and Madonna that plays on 2Day and hit107.
Maybe with the SAFM revival they and 2Day might just go with music variety at night.
From the SCA website regarding the relaunch of B105 and SA FM
“ The rest of the Hit-branded network stations nationally will remain as Hit and take on the network’s new look branding. In addition, Hit92.9 in Perth will remain unchanged for now - but with further announcements in coming months for this important market.”
I’ll take a stab and guess that Mix will be rebranded to the M’s.
I reckon they’ll keep Mix and convert Hit to Triple M.
“Feels Good Triple M” anybody?
Former 2MMM breakfast presenter, Doug Mulray, will join Moonman in the Morning from 7:15am tomorrow (Friday 31st July) to celebrate 2MMM’s 40th birthday, which is this Saturday 1st August (Radioinfo said that it’s 2nd August, but history records suggest that it occurred on the former date).
Another former 2MMM presenter, Rob Duckworth, will also host part of the workday shift from 12 to 1pm tomorrow.

Rob Duckworth is currently filling in for Tim Webster over on 2CH(6am-Midday).He’ll be a busy boy tomorrow.
Absolutely
Triple M Brisbane are 40 in August too ,about the 22nd I think
They should do something like an “FM 1 0 40th” birthday promotion.
They really should. That’s an excellent idea.
If only they were funny…
